The unrest in the country is about to erupt. This is the dark side of politics we've heard about before—where it's said that "the worst thing man ever created was politics." Once you step into this world, there's no turning back. People start seeing you as someone worthy of a crown, even if all you're doing is playing with their minds. And now, we are about to witness this firsthand.
Arshad Ahmad Khan has a significant reputation in the country, and his supporters have already begun marching toward the government building, where security forces are stationed, trying to maintain order.
A massive crowd is gathering near the hospital, with people from all the nearby states coming together in huge numbers. A clash could break out at any moment, putting everyone in danger. The government is under immense pressure because of the lack of progress in the investigation of the recent massacre. Although they've made some arrests, they can't reveal this to the public until they have more evidence to prove those individuals were involved in the killings.
Inside the hospital, where Vivaan and his team have finally regained their senses, they feel helpless. They have no idea what they can do to stop this from escalating.
"Sir, I have the Director on the line. He wants to speak with you," Asha said hurriedly, handing her phone to Vivaan.
"Vivaan, we don't have time for formalities. The situation is getting out of control, and I've been trying to reach the Home Ministry since I heard about Khan's death. I know you've arrested those three individuals, and I need you to make an official statement about their confession. This statement might calm the public..."
Vivaan interrupted, "But they weren't involved in the crime. They're all victims, and my interrogation isn't even complete. I'm sorry, but it wouldn't be right to pin this crime on innocent people."
Vivaan's voice was firm, yet inside, he felt the weight of the decision he had to make. The tension in the room was thick, and everyone could sense the gravity of the situation.
"It's not the time to argue about right or wrong. If you don't release a statement, I will. Don't you see the chaos this case is causing? How many days has it been since you took charge? I need an answer, or I'll call for a press conference right now." With those words, Dhanush Kashyp hung up on Vivaan.
"Sir, what happened? What did the Director say?" Asha asked, and now everyone in the room was looking at Vivaan.
"He wants me to release a statement suggesting that these three were somehow involved in the crime. He said if I don't, he'll make one himself."
"But we have no connection! Even Gouri and Abhinav gave you their statements. Why this now?" Honey protested, clearly distressed.
"I don't know what to say. I just don't know," Vivaan replied, his tone laced with frustration.
The tension in the room was overwhelming. Vivaan knew he had to make a decision—either he would make the statement, or the Director would. What was the right thing to do?
Vivaan could have found a solution if only his mind were clear. A man once known for his ability to overcome anything was now on his knees. But he wouldn't let this happen to the innocent people he had interrogated.
"I've made a decision," Vivaan finally said.
Everyone in the room looked at him with suspense.
"Abhinav and Gouri had no roles in this, but that's not enough to clear them just yet. On the other hand, Honey has a direct connection to this case, isn't that right, Honey?"
Abhinav and Gouri stared at Vivaan in disbelief.
"Sir, what are you saying? He has no connection! It's because of me that he's in this situation. I'll gladly take the blame, but he has nothing to do with this case," Gouri protested.
