Legends of Arceus: Rose Moonweed

Chapter 1: Awakening

She opened her eyes,holding onto her Eevee. It was very bright wherever they were. All of a sudden,she sees another girl. This one has beautiful blue hair. She seems to be awake as well.
The next thing Rose knows, there's a booming voice.
"Welcome to my realm,located both beyond space and time." Rose looks around,only seeing a bright golden light. "It is well that thou art here." The voice continues speaking. "I am that which humans call Arceus." Rose's eyes widened. She looks at the other girl,who seems equally as shocked. "What is thy name?" The booming voice asks. "Dawn." The other girl says her name,giving Rose the courage to say hers as well. "Rose." She says with a slightly scared voice.

"Dawn..Rose.." The light gets brighter and brighter,flashing before their eyes. "Soon thou shalt find thyself in a very strange world to thee.." The light starts to hurt Rose's eyes. She looks at the other girl,now known as Dawn,who seems to be equally affected by the blinding light. "Dawn..Rose..seek out all pokemon, and thou shalt find me once more." Rose blinks and suddenly the light disappears. She looks around and sees herself falling from the sky.

Suddenly a bunch of bright lights start to appear,transforming into a being. A beautiful being. It glows like a bunch of stars in the sky,yet having the warmth of a cozy fireplace.
She notices the blue haired girl next to her. She didn't know what came over her,grabbing the girl's hand. The other girl replies to it by squeezing Rose's hand back. Rose looks the girl in her eyes and nods,as their phones come back, enveloped in light.
The girls smile at each other as everything goes black.

"Wake up!" A voice yells. Rose attempts to open her eyes,yet being unable to get them open. "Ohhh... Do wake up, won't you?" She starts to open her eyes,feeling like the world is spinning.
She opens her eyes and sees three starter pokemon from different regions. The only one she can recognize at the moment in her state,is oshawott,the water type starter from her home region,Unova.
"Are you alive,my girls?!" The voice sounds. Rose opens her eyes properly,looking up and seeing a strange looking man.

Rose gets up,feeling someone's hand in hers,that she hadn't realized she was holding.
It's the blue haired girl from before.
She looks at the blue haired girl,who looks at her back. It's clear both of them know what happened. Rose looks around,noticing that they're in a beach-like environment.
"You two gave me quite the shock,falling from the sky like that." The strange man says. The girls look at each other,as the man continues. "But thank goodness you seem unharmed!" Rose walks in front of the other girl,her instincts yelling at her to protect the younger girl.
"Who are you?" Rose asks,not quite glaring but not quite with a calm expression either.
"I'd like to ask you the same question!" The man exclaims.

"I mean..you fell out of the SKY,you understand. Come now- who in the world does that?!" The man continues. Rose looks at the other girl,studying her reaction.
"I must say,your clothing is..unusual." Rose looks down at her clothes,them being the same as before she fell out of the sky.
"You wouldn't happen to have an acquaintance in these parts,would you?" The man asks.
The other girl finally decides to speak. "I doubt it." She says. Rose nods. "I don't think I have anyone I know here either." She says,crossing her arms.

"I see... you two seem to be in a bit of a pickle. Might I offer some directions? Do you have somewhere around here where you could stay?" He asks.
"I don't know." The blue haired girl says. "I don't think so." Rose says,her instincts still are to protect the younger girl.
"So neither of you know anyone here,and you don't even know where to spend the night.." He says,tapping his chin.
"Well this is a proper pickle. Are either of you quite sure you'll be able to survive?" He asks. All of a sudden,panic rises on Rose's face. "My Eevee! Where's my Eevee?!" She's clearly panicking.

The man places a hand on her shoulder.
"Calm down,your Eevee is right here." He points to the Eevee, who's playing with the three pokemon he had with him. Rose looks very relieved and picks up her Eevee. "Oh Eevee! I was so scared I'd lost you!" She says while hugging her Eevee close. The blue haired girl,Dawn if Rose remembered correctly,steps up. "I guess we'll be able to survive somehow." She says,clearly not convinced herself.

"I see.. well no gentleman would abandon a person in such need." He says,smiling. Rose looks a bit suspicious about him. The three pokemon Eevee was playing with make happy sounds as well.
"Oh my, I'd completely forgotten! I had just caught up to these three runaway pokemon when you tumbled out of the sky! It's almost as if they knew you'd appear here!" He suddenly seems to realize something.
"Ah,but do you even know what a pokemon is?" He asks. Rose nods her head,looking at her Eevee. Dawn nods as well. "Of course I do." She says.
The man gives a smile again.
"My, that's a relief! Though you two fell from the sky, it seems we have some common ground,eh?" Rose nods,thinking to herself about how it was impossible for her to not know what a pokemon was, considering her Eevee.

Rose decided to ignore it and continue smiling.
"Yes, well, these three pokemon belong to me, mysterious creatures that they are!" The three pokemon surround Rose, clearly curious about her. People said that Rose always had a natural way with pokemon.

"Oh yes, and what might your names be?" He asks. The blue haired girl answers first. "I'm Dawn." Rose follows soon after. "I'm Rose." She says,smiling through, despite the fact that her back hurts like a bitch.
"Oho! So you two are called Dawn and Rose! Those names have quite the ring to them! I imagine they must have lovely meanings!" The man in front of them says. Rose looks at the sky,thinking to herself how they possibly could fall from it. "Oh, but I do apologize! I haven't even introduced myself!" The man suddenly realizes. "My name is Laventon. I am something of a pokemon professor." Dawn tilts her head,looking confused. "That is to say,I am a scholar seeking to deepen our understanding of pokemon."

The three pokemon suddenly hop off Rose and walk next to the man,now known as professor Laventon. He continues speaking. "Yes, pokemon such as these three here, whi-" He doesn't get to finish his sentence, as the pokemon take off into a run. "Oh blast and bother! My darling pokemon! Why must you run from me again?!" He yells. Suddenly Rose's Eevee jumps out of her arms and runs after the pokemon. "Eevee! Where are you going?!" Rose panics.
"I'm terribly sorry,but do you think you could help me round them up? I beg of you!" Professor Laventon says to the girls,not waiting for an answer he takes off after the pokemon. "Wait you three! Wait!" Rose is the next to run after them,trying to find her Eevee. Dawn sighs and goes after them.
