"So are you going to continue it?" Pond asked confusing me.
"Continue what?" I questioned him back.
"Acting like being just friends with Nanon." Khao said.
"I am friends with Nanon." I replied.
"Just friends."
"Well, we are just that."
"When will you stop lying to us?" June said.
"I swear to god I am not lying."
"Then when will you stop lying to yourself." Khao continued.
"I am not lying to anyone."
"Ohm." Pond said.
"What?"
"Tell us the truth." Pond asked.
"He has been really helpful. Ever since I broke up with Pip, my trust crushed. And he was there. Not as a mate but as a friend. And I don't want to ruin it with indulging my feelings into it. I trust Nanon a lot right now, but what if things get awkward, or worse what if he rejects me instead and wants to date Blue instead?"
"Have you held each other's hands?" June asked
"Yes. But that's not the point. He was scared to cross the road and I helped."
"And did you continue holding hands?" Khao continued.
"It doesn't prove anything."
"And have you guys cuddled?" Pond exaggerated.
"Well, his apartment is very cold."
"Okay. And have you kissed his forehead?" Pond continued.
"Well. I slept at his place. And he felt like cuddling so we were talking and he said something cute so I did."
"Bastard, just start dating already." June shouted.
"Shut up."
"Okay. Last question. And we'll shut up." Khao said.
"What is it?"
"Did you guys kiss?" He continued.
"I mean....."
"You asshole. And you still call him your friend?" Pond continued.
"It was not an actual kiss. He kissed me to comfort me."
"What?" they said in unison.
"I had a nightmare so he kissed me to calm me down."
"I apologize. I don't know the definition of a relationship. I thought that's what you do in one." Pond said sarcastically.
"Stop being sarcastic."
"Oh my god. Guys, did you notice?" June said.
"His eyes twitched." She continued.
"What?" Pond said.
"His eyes twitched." June said.
"He's lying." Khao continued.
"He has feelings for Nanon." Pond ended with a shocked smirk.
"I don't."
"You do." June said.
"I just said I don't."
"It's not about it being awkward, is it? It's something else that happened, right?" Khao said making me shocked.
"No."
"Ohm." Khao said.
"Maybe."
