Zhuocheng was heading to the medical food court to meet his boyfriend for lunch when he received a call on his phone.

He let out a sigh of frustration as he pulled his phone out of his pocket and checked the caller ID.

Jiyang Song calling...... showed the caller id.

With an eye roll and an annoyed tone, Cheng answered the call, asking why Jiyang was calling and reminding him that he had plans to visit Haikuan ge during his lunch break. He demanded to know why Jiyang was calling at such an inconvenient time..

"What is it Jiyang? Why do you call? Haven't i told you that I will be visiting Haikuan ge during lunch break. What is so important that you call me now?" Cheng asked in his usual diva tone.

Jiyang, who was on the other end of the call, seemed deeply concerned. In a distressed tone, he responded, "Cheng, I need you to come to Ken's hostel room. Ken is in a state of despair. He confessed his feelings to Yibo ge and he rejected Ken in front of everyone. He has been crying since we left the engineering food court. I've tried everything to comfort him, but he is too devastated. Please come here as soon as you can. I can't handle this on my own." Jiyang's voice trembled as he fought back tears.

After hearing this, Cheng's eyes widened in surprise. He had heard from Ken that there was a guy from the engineering department named Yibo that Ken had a crush on since the beginning of the university year.

However, since Yibo was not romantically available, Ken started dating someone else named Mark from the Business department who resembled Yibo. Just yesterday, Ken had told Cheng that he had broken up with his boyfriend and planned to ask Yibo out.

Never in his wildest dreams did Cheng imagine that Ken would gather the courage to confess his feelings to the notorious leader of the engineering gang.

"Shit!!!" Cheng exclaimed. "Jiyang, can you take care of him for now? I'll come as soon as I can." By saying that he cut the call. He then quickly called his boyfriend and cancelled their lunch date at the food court, explaining that something important had come up.

Cheng arrived at Ken's dorm room after 10 minutes. Upon opening the door, he was met with a devastating sight. Ken appeared completely devastated, with red eyes and a runny nose from crying. Jiang also seemed helpless and was crying alongside Ken. Cheng could only embrace his two closest friends and join in their tears.

Thirty minutes later, an eternity in Ken's mind, he finally regained his composure.

Cheng questioned him, "What caused this sudden change? You seemed content with Mark hyung, so why end things with him and reveal your feelings for Yibo?"

"For the past 3 months, I had been deceiving myself. In my relationship with Mark hyung, I had hoped to view him in the same way as I saw Yibo hyung. However, this was not the case. It dawned on me that no one could ever hold the same place in my heart as Yibo hyung.

And what Yibo hyung did to me was incredibly painful. He openly admitted that I was only a temporary amusement to him and that he merely fulfilled my desires...the desires I had explicitly expressed.

But what I truly desired was not sex. I wanted him to love me, but he made it clear that he would never commit to someone like me. He even implied that I was overestimating myself and not worthy of his affection...that I am not worth it..." Ken cried once more.

"His every utterance felt toxic, as if he were piercing my heart with countless blades. The pain was excruciating, and I thought I might perish." Ken was now a sobbing wreck, and Cheng and Jiyang could only watch as their friend endured more anguish.

"Ken, I urge you to let go of him. He's not deserving of your attention. If he doesn't appreciate your love, then he's not the right person for you," Jiyang attempted to explain to him.

Ken chuckled at the irony of the situation. He realized that his best friends could never truly comprehend the overwhelming sense of despair he was currently experiencing. His friends had been fortunate in matters of the heart, both having their first love reciprocated. Meanwhile, he was left heartbroken by his first love's rejection.

"Do you know what is the most difficult thing in the world?" Ken asked wiping his tears.

"It is to unlove the person whom you love the most... It is easier said than done.. I wish he could accept me.. I wish I was what he wanted... Last night was a pure bliss for me.. And I thought that he was making love to me.. That he was in love with me..But.." Ken couldn't continue as he felt suffocating.

After dedicating a significant amount of time and energy, Cheng and Jiyang managed to help the tired Ken fall asleep. Cheng covered Ken with a cozy blanket and they both left the room.

As they stood on the balcony, Cheng sensed his frustration towards Yibo. Jiyang was also upset, but he understood not to provoke Yibo. Challenging their Alpha meant risking conflict with the engineering department, a futile and dangerous decision on their part. Thus, Cheng was contemplating their next course of action.

"I feel suffocated if I am not able to take revenge for Ken. Even though Yibo hyung didn't want to be a relationship with Ken, he shouldn't have publicly insulted him in the food court." Jiyang said with anger.

Upon hearing this, Cheng's face twisted into a wicked smile as he declared, "Sometimes, you have to show people what it feels like to be on the receiving end. We'll destroy him in the most effective way possible, just like he did to Ken. We'll shatter his heart."

"But how?" inquired Jiyang. "I've been studying in the engineering department for 3 months and I see him every day. But I've never heard or seen Yibo hyung dating. How can we make it happen?"

"We require a heartbreaker to handle the other heartbreaker... And I have an ideal candidate in mind for Yibo. The sole playboy of our university... The lovely casanova... My dear cousin... Xiao Zhan..." Cheng exclaimed, beaming with delight..
