Zhuocheng paced around his dorm room, heart racing as the potential impact of his plan settled over him like a warm blanket.

He had always admired Zhan's charm, watching from the sidelines as his cousin enchanted every heart that crossed his path. But this was different-this wasn't just a casual conquest.

Zhuocheng needed Zhan to enter the icy fortress that was Yibo's heart and melt it down to its core. The stakes felt higher now, tinged with the urgency of Ken's heartache.

With a sudden surge of determination, Zhuocheng dialed Jiyang's number again, eager to rally his partner in this covert operation.

"We meet Zhan ge tonight to share our fake story and plant the seeds of our revenge," he instructed, his voice infused with excitement.

"This is just the beginning." Jiyang echoed his enthusiasm and they quickly determining the details of their fake story to be narrated to Zhan, the atmosphere thick with anticipation.

Their goal was more than just petty revenge; they were determined to show not just Yibo, but everyone, that love was not something to be toyed with.

Later that evening, as the clock struck nine, Zhuocheng and Jiyang stepped into the neat, brightly lit room of Xiao Zhan. With walls adorned with a mishmash of medical posters and snapshots of unforgettable moments, it was a space filled with charisma-much like its owner.

Zhan welcomed them with his trademark charm, a teasing glance directed at his cousin. "What's the crisis this time?" he smirked, already intrigued as he gestured toward the couch.

But Zhan's enthusiasm was not reflected by the other two people. Both Cheng and Jiyang looked sad.

Zhan was brimming with excitement, yet Cheng and Jiyang seemed downcast. They both wore expressions of sadness, their lack of enthusiasm contrasting with Zhan's energy.

As Zhan noticed their somber demeanor, he grew more serious himself, his face showing signs of worry.

"Is everything alright, guys?" Zhan asked, his concern evident in his tone.

"Zhan ge... We're not sure how to say this, but..." Cheng's voice trailed off as if he were hesitant to share what was on his mind.

Zhan inquired with Jiyang about what he had told Cheng that made him so disheartened.

"Cheng mentioned wanting to speak with me about something you said to him, Jiyang." Zhan explained. "What did you say to make my lively cousin feel so down?"

Jiyang was next in line to act, but he seemed melancholy. In truth, he was filled with fear over the potential consequences his actions could have for both himself and Cheng..

His behavior could be considered treason against his engineering department as he plotted deceit against the gang leader and their group. If anyone were to discover the truth, he would face certain execution.

However, he refused to give up. He had to seek retribution against Yibo for Ken. And for that, this little falsehood wouldn't cause any harm.

Jiyang let out a sigh and began to speak, addressing Zhan. "Zhan ge, I believe that you are familiar with the dynamics of our department. We are expected to act as a united group, as a pack. Discussing internal matters with outsiders is strictly prohibited. However, I felt it was necessary to inform you about something I heard.

But before I do, I need your assurance that you will not reveal my identity as the source of this information. If you can promise me that, then I will share everything Yibo ge said about you and your mother."
