Y/n's Pov:
You just returned to school after studying abroad for a year.
You received many "welcome backs" as you walked through the halls.
You're at your new locker, storing all your new textbooks inside.
As you do so, one of your friends joins you on your side.
"Hey y/n" She greets with a warm smile.
You greet her back, returning the smile.
"How are you adjusting again?" She continues.
"Oh... It's fine." You sigh
"Have you heard?" She suddenly asks.
"Heard what?"
"Apparently e/n went crazy after you moved away."
"What do you mean?" You pause your actions, turning towards her.
"I mean.. he was always angry, would never attend to his classes, and pick up fights every day."
"It's not because of me..."
"Oh yes it is." She interrupts. "I'll tell you more about it at lunch. Gotta go!" She quickly turned and ran away
Then, your eyes locked on someone who your friend had blocked the sight of, e/n.
And he heard everything.
He covered a finger over his mouth, but you noticed the corners of his lips lifted a bit.
He shot you a wink before walking away
