But I was in for a surprise...

I woke up this morning to a pillow colliding with my head.

"Turn that bloody alarm off!" Pansy kept hitting me with the pillow, clearly fed up.

"Alright, alright!" I scrambled to grab my phone and silence the alarm.

"I've never known anyone to sleep through that many alarms," she huffed, rolling her eyes.

"Can't help it if I'm a heavy sleeper," I mumbled, kicking off the covers.

"It's not normal, and it's the most annoying thing ever," Pansy grumbled, heading toward the bathroom.

"Almost done, Nora?" she called through the door.

"Two minutes!" Nora shouted back.

"Y/N, you need to be ready by 8:30," Pansy said, rummaging through her wardrobe. "We're meeting the boys in the common room, grabbing breakfast, then heading to the Black Lake at 10."

"How much time do I have?" I checked my phone.

"An hour and a half," Pansy replied, laying out her clothes neatly on her bed.

"Wait, what? You let my alarms go for an hour before attacking me with a pillow?" I said, shocked.

"Yeah, don't know why we waited that long. It was the most obnoxious alarm I've ever heard," she laughed. "I would've turned it off myself, but you were lying on your phone, and I couldn't move you."

"Oops," I chuckled. "It can't be that bad."

"How would you know? You don't wake up to them," she retorted, pulling out some clothes.

"I'm done," Nora said as she stepped out of the steamy bathroom.

"Alright, girls, I'm showering," Pansy announced as she made her way inside. "I'll leave the door unlocked if anyone needs anything."

"Thanks, I'll probably need a wee soon anyway," I teased as I walked over to my underwear drawer.

I picked out a black bandeau swimsuit and a matching emerald green underwear set for after our swim, neatly placing them on the bed. I turned to my wardrobe to find an outfit for the day.

"What are you wearing over your swimsuit?" Nora asked, flicking through her clothes.

"Probably a sleeveless dress or a playsuit," I said, glancing at her. Thankfully, my collarbone bruise was completely gone now, so I didn't have to hide under long sleeves anymore.

"Good idea. It's supposed to be scorching today," she replied, pulling out an outfit of her own.

"Thirty degrees, they said. Oh, and don't forget to pack extra underwear for Hogsmeade after the lake," I reminded her, pulling a black bandeau dress from my wardrobe.

"Thanks, nearly forgot about that!" she said, rushing to her drawer.

I chuckled, placing my outfit on the bed and heading to my dressing table to pick out the makeup I'd use after my shower.

A few minutes later, Pansy strolled out of the bathroom with towels wrapped around her hair and body.

"You can shower now, Sherlock," she laughed.

"Thanks, Captain Obvious," I teased back, grabbing my things and heading into the bathroom.

I showered quickly, did my skincare routine, brushed my teeth, and was done within fifteen minutes. Plenty of time to get ready before breakfast. Once out, I dried myself off, moisturized, put on my swimsuit and dress, and used a quick hot-air charm to dry my hair. After doing my makeup and spritzing on some perfume, I realized I still had twenty minutes to spare. All that was left was to find shoes and a bag.
