What was taking him so long?
It had been 45 minutes, and my patience was running thin. Frustrated, I decided to go find him myself. My legs felt steady now, so I got out of bed, grabbed my wand, and left his dorm. When I reached the Slytherin common room, I spotted Lucas near the drinks table and headed over to him.
"Lucas," I tapped his shoulder, and he turned, smiling when he saw me.
"What's up, doll?" His gaze flicked down to what I was wearing.
"Have you seen Draco anywhere?" I asked, trying not to sound too impatient.
Lucas chuckled. "Judging by what you're wearing, I thought he'd be with you. But no, I haven't seen him."
I suddenly remembered I wasn't wearing my own clothes.
"He left me almost an hour ago," I said, rolling my eyes. "He said he'd be ten minutes."
"Did he say where he was going?" Lucas took a sip of firewhiskey and held the bottle out to me. "Want some?"
"He was supposed to get me food. Ten minutes, he said. But obviously, he never came back." I huffed, taking the bottle. "Yeah, sure."
I took a few large gulps, feeling a little more sober after being with Draco. A bit more wouldn't hurt. Handing the bottle back to Lucas, he grinned.
"I'll let you know if I see him. We'll be back in the crowd where we were before." He gave a nod, heading toward the party.
"Thanks, Lucas. I'll catch up with you soon." I gave him a quick wave before turning toward the door.
Once outside the common room, I started down the corridor, growing worried that Draco might have gotten caught by a professor or Filch. I had almost reached the end of the hallway when I heard a familiar voice—a male voice—talking quietly with someone. My heart sank.
Draco.
"Thanks for understanding and doing that for me," I heard him say softly.
"It's okay, sweetie. You know I'd do anything for you," a girl cooed back.
My blood froze. That voice.
Astoria.
The rage flared up inside me, threatening to explode. I couldn't stop myself from sneaking closer.
"But don't tell anyone, especially not Y/N," Draco added in a hushed tone.
"Don't worry, I won't," Astoria reassured him sweetly.
I crept around the corner, peering at them. What I saw made my blood boil—Draco, hugging her. Comforting her.
After everything she did to me?
My vision blurred with tears as pure anger took over. I couldn't hold it in any longer.
"YOU FUCKING CUNT!" I screamed, stepping out from behind the corner. Both their heads whipped around in shock.
Astoria flinched. "Oh fuck!"
Draco quickly approached me, panic in his eyes. "Y/N, it's not what you think—"
"Don't you dare touch me, you lying piece of shit!" I slapped his hands away, glaring at him. "You left me waiting for an hour. For her?"
"That's not what this is, I swear!" Draco's voice cracked with desperation.
"Yeah, it's not," Astoria muttered from behind him, shrinking away.
I snapped. "Did I ask you to speak, you thick bitch?" I shoved Draco aside, stepping toward her. "If you don't get out of my sight in three seconds, I'll drag you by your greasy hair and throw you off the Astronomy Tower."
