Alex POV:

Fucking asshole.

He had complained to my superior and threatened to fire me if they ever had a complaint from me again.

It's not that I'm afraid, and I don't want to be vain, but they've never had a complaint about me before. I'm doing my job well and I was one of the most experienced workers on the team.

– What makes you decide to throw him a drink? – Anna scolds me when I tell her everything that happened the night before.

– He was rude to me, too little I did. Besides, I got scolded because of him. – I defended myself.– He deserved it.

– In Alex's defense, I'll say she's right. It was pretty borderline with her. – Noa who saw everything supports me.

– I don't care. – answers annoying. – They still threatened to throw her out. How are we supposed to pay for this without your salary?

Anna, Noa and I lived together in a nice ans comfortable apartment near campus. Although each of us studied something different, we managed to find a place that was close to our three buildings.

– Just relax. They're not going to fire anyone. – I'm trying to calm her down. – And if they do, I swear I'm gonna kill that asshole.

– You're not gonna kill anybody. – Noa intervenes. – He may be an idiot, but that's not why I'm gonna be able to stop you from going to jail.

We had a small tradition in which every Sunday without exception, unless it was urgent, we spent all afternoon together, where we told each other everything important that had happened to us during the week and then we watch some series or film.

– What's the point of having a lawyer friend if you're not gonna stop me from going to jail? – I ask with sarcasm.

– I'm in my sophomore year, even if I wanted to, I couldn't defend you.

– Stop fooling around and let's focus on the important thing. – Anna intervenes again.

Anna, unlike Noa and I, worked in a lab as a scholarship student. One could say that it was the most sensible and rational of the three, but not least fun.

– True. How could it not be Dybala yesterday? – Noa complains again.

– I've told you a hundred times, you don't stand a chance with him. He's married and his wife's a goddess. – I explain.
