just standig in that dress}

Kenan POV:

I couldn't have had a better time with Alex the night before. That girl was crazy, but even though I couldn't say what exactly, there was something about her that I liked.

We both got up a little late the next morning so we couldn't do much more than see the city a little, although it was pretty good. We saw the most famous places and we bothered each other whenever we could.

And to think this whole thing had been a very bad idea.

I was having too much fun with her, and on the one hand I was starting to worry. This was just part of a deal and it was nothing more than that. When all this was over, each of us would go back to his own path, and we would never know about the other again. It was what we both wanted since the beginning and it was the best thing. Because it was the best thing, right?

After lunch and a little walk, we went back to the room to prepare for tonight's gala.

– Ready to see the dress? – I ask, creating expectation on my part with the dress still stored in it cover, but stretched on the bed.

– Honestly, no, I still think I should have bought it myself. – she complains, but I know she's dying to see it.

– Don't you trust my taste? – I take offense.

– You really want me to answer that? – she asks mockingly at the same time as he laughs.

– Better not. – I answer and proceed to open the cover to see a pretty black dress. – What do you think?

– Well... – says to analyze it thoroughly. – I honestly expected something much worse.

– What does that mean? – ask confused . Isn't it easier to say whether you like it or not?

– Well, I'm not going in my pajamas, good job. – comments at the same time as she takes it. – Now all we have to do is hope I'm worth it.

After that little conversation Alex asks for the bathroom to be able to fix herself, so I do it in the room, although to avoid any other surprises we are left in that if she has to go out let me know earlier, although I have not been the one who has put any punches on me, it has been her.

Anyway, she misses it.

After more than an hour of waiting, I can't help but wonder what she must be doing there. It's not for nothing, but I just can't figure out why women need so much time to prepare. I mean, it's true they were beautiful afterwards, but without so much, wouldn't they be, too?

– Alex, how much longer do you have? – I ask from the other side of the bathroom door. – It's not for nothing, but it's just that you've been in there over an hour and I'm starting to think you're dead or something. – I add with a certain tone of mockery.
