Alex POV:
When I get up and leave my room, I see two pairs of eyes staring at me. At that moment I remember I promised them an explanation, but to be honest, I just woke up and it was the last thing I wanted at nine in the morning.
– Don't pkay dumb and come here. – let Noa know when I try to act dumb and go to the kitchen to make me some coffee.
I've been trying to avoid them for the last few days, and I have to admit I've managed to do it well to this day. I guess that's because it's Saturday morning and neither of the three have class or go to work.
– I was just gonna make some coffee. – let go of the first excuse I can think of.
– Here you go. – says Anna now while showing me the cup.
I guess there's nothing else I can do to delay the conversation, so I give up and go as far as they are and grab the cup reluctantly.
– What do you want to know? – I ask at the same time that I sit on the couch and give a sip of coffee.
– Everything. – they say in unison.
– You know... I broke the vase and Kenan offered to help me with that. – I'm starting to explain the story that we agreed on in case we were asked. – A few days later I looked for him to thank him and we had coffee. – wow I'm pretty good at this. – After talking for a while he didn't seem so stupid and... well, after that coffee came others and, one thing led to the other and now I'm dating him. – I'm done explaining. It's not that I wanted to lie to them, but they couldn't know that all this was fake.
– And... – they're going to talk again, but since I know them, I'm going to cut them short.
– You need to be a little more specific with the questions.
– Okay, I got one. – says excited Noah. – Why are Arda and Jude following you on Instagram?
– I didn't know they did it. – and it was true that I just found out. – But if it helps you to understand, I met them when they came here to play a couple of weeks ago.
– You went to see Juve and you didn't take me? – asks again but now offended.
– Couple of times. – I answers to downplay it.
– How seriously are you going with him? – Anna now asks herself taking the matter more seriously.
– Pretty serious. – Well already willing to lie that it was more important to do it big.
– Does your mother know it? – It's Noa's turn to ask.
– Of course not, and if you'll excuse me, I have things to do. – I mean to end the conversation and go back to my room. I didn't think I could keep lying to them.
