"And that's how it happened! AJ apparently recognized me and she just knew she had to become friends with my awesome self again!" snickered rainbow as she nudged applejack's arm.
Rainbow and Applejack slowly reconnected and before they knew it became best friends once again.
Thankfully Rainbow doesn't feel anything for AJ now. For now that is.
"I see," said twilight as she adjusted her hair. "I had no idea you two had stopped talking to each other for a while. What's the reason behind that? "
Before anyone could answer the bell rang. The girls then headed to class.
The seats were double so Applejack sat with rainbow all the time. They had science together. They were seated in the back next to the window.
Just as the teacher was gonna begin, she got a phone call saying she had to urgently go back to her house to check a flood in her neighborhood. Unfortunately class wasn't dismissed but the students could do what they wanted.
"Welp, suits me, I'm gonna have the best nap of my life!" said rainbow as she stretched her arms.
"Ah think I'm gonna do some homework, but I'll watch out for ya"she smiled.
"Mhm... Thanks AJ." rainbow muttered. She had placed her arms in cross form and closed her eyes.
Not more than thirty minutes later, rainbow heard some chair sounds and clacks bit decided to ignore them and keep napping.
She was sure she was sleeping, but for some reason she felt something warm caress her face, she moved her face for a second and felt the warmth leave suddenly. Instinctively she grabbed whatever was that felt warm and kept it closer.

Rainbow felt some wind on her face and slowly opened her eyes. She could see by the window it was late. All the students seemed to have left. Her vision was kind of blurry but she made contact with the same green eyes of the cashier from a year ago.
"Wake up sleepyhead" applejack nudged rainbow's shoulder. But as she saw she had no intention of getting up she flicked her fingers at her forehead.
"Ouch!! What was that for??" rainbow held her hands of her forehead.
"To wake ya up, come on let's go." AJ said as she got up.
"Go where?"
"Your mum called and I replied for ya, she said she was gonna go on some sort of trip with your dad so she was gonna ask you if you could stay with someone. Ah offered for ya to sleepover at my house for the weekend."
"Wait, me and you? Hell nah!" she scoffed "I can take very good care of myself"
"Well sure if that's what ya want, guess I'll have extra apple fritters for Winona." she smirked
