They got closer and gave eachother a nice hug.
"I'm glad we made up" smiled rainbow dash as she breathed in the hug.
She loved the feeling of being in applejack's- Wait what? -
She quickly realised her thoughts and broke the hug. Swearing she saw a hint of disappointment on applejack's face.
"Well, me too rainbow crash." applejack grinned as she lightly punched rainbow's shoulder.
"Aw yeah applesmack?" rainbow laughed.
Shortly after, class began and the two girls spent it fooling around together. Which didn't last long since the teacher then brought more information to their attention.
Teacher: All right class, we're going to make a team project now. It will be teams of two. But im going to be choosing.
In the end. Rainbow was bummed to not have been able to team up with applejack, but she wasn't too upset to have been with fluttershy either.
Teacher: And lastly, Applejack with Vanessa.
Huh? Vanessa who?
Rainbow looked around drastically and saw a brown haired girl waving at applejack with a big smile on her face. Just who did she think she was?
Rainbow backed out on her seat and layed her legs on the desk so they couldn't stare at each other anymore. I mean, they had to concentrate in class right?
Unfortunately, it didn't last long since rainbow had to move and sit in another table next to fluttershy. Of course she was still glaring at the sight of her best friend talking to that other girl.
"Uhm, dashie? We should start our project now.." said fluttershy, she noticed she weird look on rainbow Dash's face. She seemed to break out of her trance.
"R-right! Sorry shy... It's just I've been feeling weird lately " she said as she glanced back to the two girls engaging in a conversation.
"It's alright dashie, let's just get working now. " fluttershy smiled sweetely as she caressed rainbow's hair.
Class was gonna end in 10 minutes now. So the students had to start wrapping up their equipment of the laboratory project. Rainbow gave a quick small look at how her best friend was doing and saw that they had succeeded in finding their answer. Vanessa started jumping and immediately hugged applejack.
Rainbow got distracted and almost made their tube fall off. What was going on with her?
They were done wrapping up and were just waiting for the bell." Shy.. Can I tell you something? "
"Sure! "She smiled." what's wrong? "
"It's just I... I've been feeling weird lately around-

"Oh.. Wanna tell me later?" fluttershy said while picking up her books.
"Uhm, nah it's alright. I'm just having stuff happening lately but I'll manage. Wanna walk home together after our next class?" rainbow asked sheepishly, she felt she needed some applejack-time-off for a while.
Fluttershy's face lit up for a second, it's been a while she had alone time with rainbow dash and she wasnt gonna miss her chance. She quickly agreed and then they both left together.
Fluttershy smiled at the sight of this new rainbow dash and took her chance to lock her hand with hers and walk to their lockers together. Rainbow didn't see anything wrong with it so she let it happen. They both then talked together and laughed.
Of course this earned a glare from a certain blonde girl who wasn't paying attention to the other person in front of her. (Lol haha suck it up Vanessa)
... It was now the end of classes.
"Hey rainbow! Let's go!" said applejack smiling who was leaning in front of rainbow's locker.
Rainbow scratched the back of her head "Right. About that AJ... I'm sorry but I promised shy I'd walk with her today."
"Oh, well that's fine' sugarcube, I guess ah'll see ya tomorrow then.." she gave a cringey face and left. The disappointment clearly visible.
The walk of rainbow dash and fluttershy was pretty nice. But some other person was on the back of rainbow's head for the whole time.
"Hey shy.. Have you ever... Liked a girl?" she asked bluntly. But for some reason fluttershy smiled at her question.
"Dashie.. You know you can tell me anything right? I noticed that your crush for applejack is definitely growing." fluttershy surprisingly grinned.
"I know I can tell you anything shy, it's just that this time its- WHAT?!" rainbow was taken aback and shared at her friend in shock.
"Dashie, you and I are childhood friends and.. Well ever since you came to my birthday less than a year ago I just noticed this sort of.. change on you. I wasn't sure of the reason until you told me you reconnected with Applejack. "
Rainbow smiled and hurriedly hugged her dear friend.
"I appreciate your observation shy, but". Rainbow smiled, then laughed. " You're hilarious you know that!! Me?? Liking applejack? Please! Her and I are the bestest of best friends and that's the way it will always be! " she slapped the back of fluttershy while drowning of laughter.
"Uhm, are you sure you don't have a crush on her? "
"Of course! I'm plenty sure-"
"That you are obviously, and deeply crushing on applejack is that correct dear? " said someone who appeared behind a tree.
Rd & Fs: Rarity?!
"Why yes it's me darlings". She played with her hair and got closer. "While you two were so focused on your little chat, you didn't even notice me appear an say hi to you both"
"Rarity, will you please tell fluttershy she's going ballistic about me having hidden feelings for applejack?" she grunted.
"That's probably your fault rainbow dash, you barely notice it yourself that you feel something weird and that its a crush for applejack." she admitted without a doubt.
"Oh yeah?". Replied rainbow. "Then tell me all the symptoms for this 'crush' condition and I'll tell ya if it's true or not."
"Fine, do you feel really really happier when applejack's around?"
"Well yes but-"
"Do you sometimes feel weird and fuzzy when you get closer to her physically?"
"Sure but that's probably just girly nerves-"
"Is it hard for you to watch applejack have fun with someone other than you?"
"That's just-" rainbow silenced herself and had her eyes wide open.
"Are you okay dashie?" asked fluttershy with concern in her eyes.
"I.. I was jealous."
"Jealous of what rainbow? " said rarity with concern.
