Small, compact dragons with short wings and powerful hind legs. Most stand upright and move by hopping on their hind legs or by shuffing on all fours. Short horns, large ears and velvety muzzles. Females can carry young dragonets in pouches.

-Fairly blunt teeth and claws (insect/plant diet)
-Strong sense of hearing and smell
-Small wings, able to glide and hover, but struggle with longer flights
