:: CHAPTER 18 ::

ENCOUNTER

Yarn, the life itself is something which creates a room for mystery and space for tales.

As the bus rumbled on, Jhanvi and Dhruv sat together, hands glued in a grasp. Dhruv's eyes feasted on Jhanvi's face, thinking,
'Can't get enough of her!'
Jhanvi on the other hand, gazed out the window, too shy to meet his gaze.

'Okay! Maybe this is getting awkward now.' Dhruv thought to himself and broke the silence, "Uh, night rides are different, aren't they?" Jhanvi nodded, turning towards him with a hint of a smile.

Dhruv's heart skipped a beat as he again thought about Jhanvi's whisper a moment ago, which was naughty and something which he can't forget.

"I know we have feelings for each other, but......." Dhruv paused, his eyes looked away for the first time.

"But?" Jhanvi asked turning towards him in enthusiasm.

"I never experienced something like before" Dhruv said

Jhanvi nodded,
Dhruv continued,
"I was in a relationship 2 years ago, but it didn't go well."

"Go on!" Jhanvi said while leaning on him.

"There was this girl who had a crush on me, she proposed me on freshers' event, I accepted it as I didn't want to ruin the event. After that we started hanging out a lot."

"She was too touchy with me, which was cool but, I wasn't feeling like it. So, I said, 'Hey! Can we do it when I feel like doing it?' after that, she started yelling at me."

"After a while, she started ignoring me. I realized my mistake and wanted to apologize, but when I approached her to confront, I caught her with other dude on bed."

"I felt broken and my trust was shattered to pieces, since then, I got my chances to date but I always preferred to stay like this."

"What I feel right now is completely different from what I expected myself to be. Maybe it's because of you."

"But I still need some time to think about whatever we have right now. So that, I could get to a conclusion where I can figure out our future." Dhruv said.

Jhanvi looked in his eyes this time and said,
"I will wait!"
"Until then, I think I will stick with you as I'm right now."

Dhruv chuckled and leaned back onto her.

'Something about you makes me feel a little more alive and a far less lost.' Dhruv thought to himself.

'I don't think you understand how beautiful you make my world, just by existing in it.' Jhanvi thought to herself while resting her head on his shoulder.

Just then, the conductor shouted, "Krishna Colony!"
Jhanvi stood up, waved goodbye, and exited the bus.
Dhruv, lost in the moment, realized,
'Arey! Why do I feel empty all of a sudden?'
'Oh! She is the one who completes me.'

"Wait! WAIT!! FUCK!! I came 5 km away from my house." Dhruv shouted in the bus.

"Shh! This is a public place." Conductor shouted at Dhruv.

Dhruv collapsed on the seat and thought to himself,
'Damn! This girl really makes me go crazy'

As the bus drove away, Dhruv couldn't help but smile, thinking,
'This is just the beginning of a beautiful, crazy ride!'

Rohit was in his cabin and it was almost 8pm,
All bored and tired, he decided to head home.
