chapter 2 - Im sorry my Viv

(SHIBBYS POV)

I cant believe she did that to me all because she saw a ring on my wedding finger, she doesn't know im trapped, she doesn't know that i dont actually wanna be stuck in this engagement. I just wish she would have given me the chance to explain. I knew I should have spoke out sooner but I didn't and now its all coming back to bite me. I miss the nickname she called me. I recieved that nickname from Jamie her son he wasnt able to say my name correctly so one day he turned around to me when he was saying goodbye and called me 'bon-bon'. I was covering in the rooms that day due to char and mia having time off to go on a holiday mia had booked for them and sorscha was at home with her wife and newborn as 'it' was only a week old at the time.

As i sat there contemplating what to do i had an idea!
I thought to myself "what if i were to write an apology letter" as i lay in bed at the side off my abusive fiance I grabed my notepad and pen and began to write.
I couldnt get the words right at first but i evetually managed to write what i wanted to say...

Dear Viv,

I know I should have told you sooner, I didn't want to to go into this engagement Roger forced me as he does with anything else. I miss you, I miss everything we did, the coffee 'meetings', the hallway chats and more. Anytime i'm alone I get thoughts of you, it sounds weird coming from me I know. But I just want you to know that I adore you, I adore the way you don't care what anyone says, I adore the way you are always caring. Everything you do I love. Even you.

I hear the RAT begin to stir, so i quickly put the note in my work bag and went to sleep so that I could give it her the next time I am able to see her. Which will most likly be the next staff night out at the pub as both Reece and Marjorie are close with viv.

I just hope she will take me back.
