Chapter 24 "A Present for Somi"

After eating some food, I told dad that I was going to my room. "Okay Mitsuki baby, rest up today. Tomorrow we will have more filming to attend to. And I was told the girl who's playing little Mikato would be there." Wait little Mikato? I wanted to meet her, but didn't get a chance to today. She wasn't on set. I was still walking up the stairs. And all of a sudden, I had a feeling. I couldn't tell what it was, but I was frozen in place. And all of a sudden I got so many questions. What if the girl that plays little Mikato hates me? What if the movie is a hit; and people start to always want to hang around me? What if my friends back in Nagano hate me? "Mitsuki is there something wrong?" I heard Flosito's voice behind me. "I can't move." I whispered to him. "We've got a problem." I heard him say, as he talked into his mic. I hear a couple more footsteps come from downstairs. "What's wrong miss Mitsuki?" I hear Yola's voice. "Please, Yola I want to be alone." I say, and surprisingly Yola singled for the bodyguards to go away. "Miss Mitsuki, I know it's hard to move, now follow my breathing." Yola walked in front of me, and held my hands, "in 1,2,3,4 out 1,2,3,4. Now how do you feel?" Wait, I can walk now. "I feel better now. Thank you Yola." Yola bowed, and walked away. I started walking to my room again, and I remembered something. Somi's birthday is soon, in like next week soon! "Dad when do I have a day off!" I yell down the stairs. "Mitsuki baby we just started filming and you're asking for a day off already?" He asked in a sarcastic voice. "My friends birthday is soon come on dad." I groaned at him.
Ishoka Haruki pov
"Hey, Kabuto. What do you think Mitsuki is doing right now?" I asked Kabuto as he looked at me. "You mean Yoshida? I probably think that she ditched us to become famous and rich." How the hell can he say that? I ask in my head. "Be careful what you say about Yoshida." Somi told Kabuto, "but it could be true" Mei said next to Somi, "you know, my brother left for Kyoto just about the same day as Yoshida did." Wait, are they no, they can't be, they're not together. Never. "So miss president, why did you ask us to come here again?" I asked in confusion. Everyone's eyes fell on her, even Lee looked to face Mei. "Well, as the student council should know, Mito's birthday is soon. And I wanted to make plans. Anyone has an idea for what we should do to celebrate her birthday?" Somi's eyes widened. And she looked shocked. "I think we should make a video, you know and we can try to get Yoshida in it too." Lee stated. "Yes! That's a perfect idea! Ishoka, message Yoshida. This will be fun!" I nodded my head and pulled out my phone, I decided to call her, instead of sending a message.
Yoshida Mitsuki pov
As I was laying in my room watching tv, I felt my phone buzz. "Huh, who's calling?" I took my phone and saw that Haruki was calling. So I picked up.
Hello? Hey Mitsuki, you know Somi's birthday is soon right? Yeah. I was thinking to take next week off to go see you guys. Really? That's awesome. But anyway, we have an idea for a birthday present. We're going to make a video and put it all together. That sound good? Yes, that's perfect actually! Just make it a surprise that I'll be visiting. Yeah sure, bye Mitsuki. Yes, bye Haruki. I then hung the phone up.
"Somi's birthday present. I should buy a separate one, maybe a necklace, or a bracelet." I said aloud to myself. "Mitsuki baby, come down here!" I hear dad's voice yelling for me to go to the living room. I walk down the steps and see a person, I don't know who it is. But he was tall, I think about 5'12 and he was wearing glasses. "Hello miss Mitsuki, I'm Jaul, your father's agent. And I will be your agent also." Oh so he's my dad's agent. "Hello Jaul." I say and bow. "Dad I really need a day off next week, to travel back to Nagano for the day. Please?" He looks at Jaul for an answer. "Yes miss Mitsuki, that is the reason I came here today." Dad signaled us to sit down, and we do as he says. "It looks like you have a free day on May 29, that good?" I gasp, "actually that's perfect. And I need to go out now, dad can you call Dolan. I need to go to the mall." Dad nods and yells for Dolan. "I need you to bring Mitsuki to the mall." Dolan then signals for me to go with him. "Flosito!" Dad yells, and he came out of nowhere, assist my daughter to the mall." Dad orders Flosito. "Yes sir." And we were off. "What is it that you need miss Mitsuki?" Dolan asks me. "Well, I have a friend back in Nagano, her birthday is next week, and I'm getting a present." Okay, I have about 2000 yen, maybe that's enough. "Here you go miss Mitsuki, your father told me to give this to you." A black card? Nice. I took it and we got to the mall. I went to the jewelry shop, and picked a pretty pink jewel, it had a heart, and I opened it up, "Have a Blessed Day." It said on the inside. "Hello ma'am, can I please get this?" I asked the cashier. "Oh yes dear," she looked up at me and smiled. "You're Yoshida Fujimoto's daughter aren't you?" She asked. "Yes how did you know?" She ringed up the item, "well you're pretty famous now, and it's a good thing you got a bodyguard." I nodded. "Thank you." And we left. When we got home, dad asked what I got. "I just got a present for Somi." "Okay. There's a little box right there if you need it." Dad said to me. "Okay." I took the box and went to my room again. It was already 9 pm and I hadn't had dinner, as I was thinking about food, Yola came in and brought me soup. "Thank you, I'll eat it right away." I said and Yola left.
