FLASHBACK

The room was full of laughter and the voice of Calimara and her fiancé. This was a sound that was regular to both Anthony and Calimara, a sound that brought them closer together. They were a bond that was unmatched, legendary, even. That was until he had to ruin her peace

FLASHBACK OVER

That was two years ago..Calimara was a light sleeper. She always was, especially with Anthony. But not anymore. She would usually wake up to the sound of a pen drop, even a slightly loud breath. Now, she wouldn't even wake up to the sound of her name, or a shake.

"Cali! Wake up. We have to get ready." The sound of her best friend echoing through her throbbing head. Calimara stirred in her sleep, tossing and turning until she sat up with a soft yawn.

"Okay, I heard you, So." That was the nickname of her best friend. She really only referred to Solace as So, simply because she loved nicknames. Especially ones that meant a lot to someone.

Eventually, Calimara got up, took a hot shower, brushed her teeth and got dressed. She slid on a simple outfit that consisted of gray sweat pants, a orange-red crop top, black and white dunks and black waist beads.

Calimara walked downstairs into the kitchen with her phone in her hand then everything came back to her.

                           FLASHBACK

Giggles filled the room whilst Cali threw a handful of flower at Anthony. "Oh my gosh..that's everywhere!" Cali laughed loudly when she saw the flower that was once in her hands, now on her fiance's face out clothes.

"You're so lucky i love you." Anthony laughed before washing his hands off. Cali made little jokes about how he looked while he just stayed silent and did little mocking faces or eye rolls.

                    FLASHBACK OVER

                   CALIMARA'S POV

"Helloooooo? Girl, why are you just frozen?" Solace asked while getting her car keys. "Shit, sorry...i was just thinking." I was kind of in a moment of confusion and thought until So spoke. We got in the car and drove to the destination.

I kind of forgot where we were going until i checked my email and saw i had a casting call. Fuck, of course i have to be casted as the lead role on a day where i'm tired. An hour later we got to the theatre and i got out of the car.

I clutch my phone in my hands in anticipation and anxiety. I was confused on why i was so scared until i walked into the theater and all emotion drained from my face.

                     ANTHONY'S POV

I woke up feeling like absolute shit. Last night i got drunk and forgot all about the whole casting process. I got up, got dressed then left out. To my luck, i only lived 15 minutes away.

It was pretty big in the theater, something i was used to. With the whole Hamilton thing i've been used to big theaters, but never empty theaters. I sat in one of the only two seats, which was weird for a huge theater. But i just sat in silence on my phone.

CALIMARA'S POV

I walk in and immediately saw Anthony. My heart dropped at the sight of the man who broke me. I wanted to tell Solace to come back and get me but when i looked outside her car was no longer there. I was fucked.

"Ah, Cali! You're here!" I heard the casting director, Johnathan spoke in a speaker voice. "You can sit down next to Anthony, or stand if you'd prefer." Of course, he just had to say something while i was trying to keep off the radar.

I waked over then sat next to the curly haired boy. It was a long and lowkey embarrassing walk. I sat down with a soft sigh, how could this day get worse? I tried to avoid talking until i heard his voice.

"So.." His voice was soft and smooth...i missed his voice. "Hi," I mumbled, this was going to be the most awkward conversation of the day. "Do you always wear sweatpants to work?" I heard his laugh and i almost punched him.

"Do you always cheat on your fiancé?" He could tell i was still salty about him cheating. I mean, who wouldn't? "It just..happened. Okay?" His words made me scoff.

"Yeah, cause cheating just happens, right?" I spoke with an eye roll. Gosh, how could he cheat on me at my lowest point then tell me it just happened?

"And what's with that attitude? You know i'm sorry." His words seemed genuine, like i could trust him...but i just couldn't bring myself to say i trusted him anymore.

I just ignored his words and went on my phone. I tried to drown out his words, but i couldn't. My lock screen was still a picture of me and him. No matter how many times i told myself i was over him, i just couldn't change that picture.

"Cali, will you just listen?" When i heard my nickname come out of his mouth i almost screamed. "You don't get to call me that anymore. Call me Calimara..my real name." I didn't want to hear him call me that anymore. It just brought back so much heartbreak.
