I don't really like to talk directly to readers, as I prefer only to tell my stories, maintain my privacy and stay enigmatic. However, with this deviation from telling poems, I wanted to give some direct context.
This Doctor Who Fan Fiction and all future of my fan fictions will be posted online, for free, forever. Because, Doctor Who doesn't belong to me. Most importantly, it belongs to the fans.
At this moment in time, I have written five full length novels. These Five original stories will hopefully one day be traditionally published and printed into books.
Generally, the sixtieth Anniversary specials of Doctor Who were received fairly negatively by a lot of people.
I, on the other hand, absolutely loved and cherished them, and decided to look past the three episodes' unsubtle messaging, rushed production, lack of multi-Doctor stories, and simply enjoyed it as a "Whovian."
I especially adored the fourteenth Doctor's character arc, costume, personality and execution which was polished by tight dialogue and excellent performances. I especially loved how fourteen's character, despite sharing his face with the tenth incarnation, is almost a complete contrast with the tenth Doctor, with the fourteenth Doctor being kinder, wiser, sentimental and compassionate.
In fact, I loved it so much I dressed as the Fourteenth Doctor for London Comic-Con in 2024. Yes, I'm a geek. How did you guess?
Doctor Who was a big part of my childhood, and it has a special place in my heart.
If Luke Newman or the team at DynamicWorks2012 ever find this, I just want to say a personal thank you.
The truly wonderful people at DynamicWorks2012 were such an inspiration to me. Thank you for inspiring me to write my own fan-fiction from your own amazingly heartfelt and dedicated Doctor Who fan production. I watched all your episodes and videos from the very beginning and still remember the original ones before they were remastered.
I met Luke and the wonderful Megan Shirley at London MCM Comic-Con in 2022 and they were both the nicest people I've met.
Also, a special thanks to Short Circuit Studios for creating the cover art for this fan-fiction. It's just awesome.
Thank you now, and as ever, for reading.
