The Tardis shook again, and the Doctor was thrust back into the console room. The time machine wobbled back and forth inside the beam, as if she was trying to break free. With a stubborn tug, the police box cast itself out and span into the sky, like a pebble from a slingshot.
The Doctor rushed back to the console room, the blue, round things from the hexagonal wall placements began to glow red. Grabbing unto the pair of stabilizers on the console segment closest to the door, The Doctor tried to control the time machine, the central crystal in the middle of the console jumping up and down like a bunny rabbit.
"Oi! Stop that!" he cried at the Tardis. The old-time machine wheezed and moaned again. He looked at the monitor. There was a planet coming in to view on the screen, spinning around in circles. He couldn't make out the words at all. He was completely lost. He had no idea where the Tardis had escaped too.
The Tardis was still wheezing and moaning like mad. The Doctor held down the fast return switch, next to the monitor's typewriter, trying to calm down the Tardis, but it was too late. The time machine was coming in too close to the planet ahead.
The Doctor cried and lurched forward, and as there was the sound of a mighty whack, the Tardis jolted once more. And then, the console room stood still, the time rotor stabilizing, and then coming to a slow stop. There was a gentle humming in the background.
The Doctor reached for the monitor on the Tardis console. The screen was buzzing, making a terrific noise as the picture was unclear.
"Well, I've landed somewhere."
The Doctor turned to the doors, ran over to them, and pulled them right open...
"Hello! Just passing by, because I got a bit lost!"
"It's finny...
Sixty minutes ago, I was this really brilliant woman...
... now I've got this old face back again...
... I mean... why?...
"Look! I was never ever here!"
"Never here!"
Now, with one less plunger than before, The Tardis spun back into space, but she was not free for long.
There was yet another beam of green light, catching The Tardis by surprise, stopping her dead in her tracks. The Doctor faced the doors of the console room, and squinted as the beam of bright blue light pierced through the windows and became overwhelmingly bright.
"Someone really wants our attention," he said, covering his eyes with his hand.
There were few people who had the technology to freeze a Tardis in mid-flight. The Doctor's mind raced at a million miles an hour as he felt the Tardis land on solid ground. He swallowed, and slowly emerged from the doors.
His eyes widened as he discovered what was waiting for him outside.
"Oh..."
The Doctor looked across, and was faced with a row of towering masked figures. They were tall, muscular, each wearing suits of big, bulky black armor, padded with muscle highlights, equipped with a gun belt and kilts made of leather strips.
