Chapter 5: Hold on

*Beep...beep...beep...beep

"He's in stable condition now, but if we would of got to him a minute later he would of died. One of the bullets was just shy of striking his heart and he has lost a lot of blood. We were able to stop the bleeding and we gave him a blood transfusion.... He's lucky to be alive." The doctor explains to Baby girl as she stands at Drew's bed side.

"How long before he's able to come home?" She asks the doctor.

"A few weeks maybe a month or so it's all on him now" the doctor replies exiting the room leaving baby girl alone with Drew.

" Im so sorry baby I really am. I didn't mean to hurt you like this I just wanted you to feel the pain you made me feel. Please don't die on me Drew don't leave me and Rose here alone."

Baby girl stands over Drew's body sobbing. Her heart was hollow at this point. The once love filled vessel was now replaced with pain and sorrow from Drew's scandalous ways to the point of her nearly killing the love of her life.

** knock knock knock

The doctor returns to the room to ask baby girl some questions.

"Excuse me ma'am I just have a few questions for you." The doc says as he takes out his pin to take notes.

" ok what's up" baby girl replies.

" Were you any where around during the time of the shooting? Were you able to witness the whole ordeal?"

" No I was just getting home from the airport when I got the news once I got home I noticed our front door was open and the house was trashed." baby girl replies trying to put on an innocent face.

"How about drugs does your husband use drugs such as ecstasy, cocaine ect?

" Hell no! He smoke weed from time to time but nothing major." Baby girl replies feeling offended.

"Well we ran some test and we found high traces of ecstasy in his system."

"The fuck?! That's impossible my husband isn't no dope fene! Baby girl snaps back at the doc.

Baby girl storms out the hospital and heads to her car.

"That bitch got the motherfucking nerve. Drugging my husband getting him to sleep with her she done lost her rabbit ass mind."

** ring ring

"Bitch you bold as fuck calling my line" baby girl snaps answering the phone.

"Haaaahahahaha bitch is you mad or naw? I bet he in his lil coma dreaming about this sweet pussy. I don't appreciate you hurting my man either so bitch you gots to pay. Your daughter is soooooo pretty I would hate to see something happen to her." Lucky says in a cold sinister tone taunting baby girl.

"Bitch if you come a foot near my daughter Ima kill you worse than I'm already planning on." Baby girl replies

"Chile you ain't scaring nobody I can reach out and touch you when ever the fuck I want you better tie ya shoes before you try and threatened somebody" lucky says right before hanging up.

Baby girl looks down at her feet to see her shoes untied.

" Wtf" baby girl says looking around franticly.

Things were starting to get out of hand and baby girl was stuck with her back up against the wall. Her once perfect world was quickly coming to an end.
