Avengers POV
(third person narrative)The Avengers were sitting in the lounge of the Stark tower laughing the night away. They had just retrieved Loki's scepter from a secret Hydra base in Sokovia and decided to celebrate their victory. As the night passed, the party died down and only the core members stayed enjoying each other's company. After having been challenged by Thor to see who could carry his hammer and be worthy, the mood became even lighter and it was clear that this long overdue celebration was exactly what they needed.
As they all remained laughing, Jarvis' electronic voice echoed throughout the room interrupting the chatter.
"Mr. Stark, there is a call for you."
Stark's head turned around as the rest of the team heard in anticipation.
"Jarvis, who could be calling me at this ungodly hour?"
"Sir, the FBI is on the call. They say it is imperative you answer them."
All of the Avengers tensed up with the news Jarvis brought.
"Tony, I think you should take that call right about now" said Steve with an apprehensive stance.
"You heard the old man Jarvis, transfer the call."
The ai configured the call and now everyone inside the room could hear the urgent message from the FBI.
"Mr. Stark, this is Director Sullivan from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, I apologize for the inconvenience."
"No need to apologize, but I really hope this is worth the interruption Director."
"Oh trust me Stark, this is definitely worth your time, and the time of the Avengers."
The team all looked at each other in confusion.
"Mr. Stark, we got a call from local pd in upstate New York saying that a strange spacecraft crash-landed on the woods. Local farmers of the property heard the crash and went immediately. Reports say nothing has come in or out of the ship. I have my men there right now surrounding the perimeter. Stark... I'm aware that you have your team with you tonight. I need you all to go and inspect the sight. Just in case things go south."
"Of course director, we will be there."
After the call ended questions began to flutter in everyone's mind.
"Thor any predictions of what visitor we might have?"
"I do not know Stark, we shall just have to wait and see."
