Zera's POV
There was a beeping sound, a strange sound. Everything was pitch black, but I could hear that beep from a mile away. Muffled sounds of people talking also consumed my ears, but I still couldn't see where I was until my eyes started to open. It felt like decades since I opened them, and the feeling became even worse as a bright white light greeted me.
Slowly but surely I woke up and felt a piercing sensation on my forehead. It made me dizzy and I quickly regretted getting up so fast. Everything around me spun and I became worried with where I was.
I quickly saw a needle in the vein of my hand and assumed it was an IV, next I felt a mask on my face. I was screwed. As my vision became clearer I began piecing everything together. If my calculations had been correct and I did in fact land in Earth, I was probably in a lab being dissected. I had heard rumors of visitors coming to Earth and facing treachery so I knew I had to get out of there as soon as possible.
As fast as I could I took the mask off my face and ripped the IV from my hand. When I stood up my legs felt like jelly but they soon started to recover. As I scanned the room I saw medical monitors and lab equipment. I was right. Panic started setting in when I realized I was in a hospital robe and not in my usual suit. Both my suit and equipment were no where to be found. Scrambling through the room I quickly got scared when I saw two men entering the room.
My heart froze and I stood wide eyed at their silhouette. One of the men had a white coat and glasses while the other had a black sweater with a fancy watch. They seemed just as confused as I was, but there was a sense of urgency. They slowly walked towards me with their eyes pressed on mine. The one with the glasses started to speak and I took a step back.
"Hello, my name is Dr. Bruce Banner and this here is my friend Tony Stark. We mean no harm whatsoever."
His face twitched in a nervous manner, almost like if he was scared of me, but it was funny, because I was scared more of them than anything else. The other man who I assume was this Stark, spoke after the doctor.
"He's right. We just want to talk. Can you understand us?"
Could I understand them? Of course I could. We spoke the same fucking language, but they obviously didn't know that. I had somewhat of an advantage, after all... they didn't know what I was capable of. A million questions started spinning in my head. Were they telling the truth or had they lied just to get me to stay. I had no time for games, I needed to get out of there and go home. A war had just broke out and I every moment I spent here in this planet was time I wasted.
I stepped closer towards the men, but one of the men hit a button on his watch and a metal suit emerged covering his entire body. He signaled he wouldn't hurt me, but why then suit up? In my planet that was an act of war so I swiftly ran to the exit. As soon as I got to the door a man with short blonde hair came in. He was intimidating and I knew I had to run. So that's what I did, I ran. My plan failed as the blonde man took my arms and held me tight and wouldn't let go.
