Vox let out a quiet groan as he attempted to sit up,his body aching in protest, but with another groan, he managed it. Clawed hands soothingly rubbed the side of his screen. He couldn't feel any cracks, so that didn't explain the blinding pain in his head. Did he drink too much? It wasn't unusual for Valentino and Velvette to drink so much on their Vees nights out that they had the next day (or in Valentinos case days) off. Vox, however, usually took pride in his alcohol tolerance and being able to wake up the next day like any other day. So why did his head feel like it was going to explode?

Digital eyes slowly blinking open, revealing a dark, blurry surrounding. Looking round, face scrunching in confusion… this wasn't his room… This wasn't Valentinos room…this was… Well, he didn't know where this was. Dropping his hands down from his face, slightly jumping at the clanging noise his claws made when they hit a metal floor. Vox's heart began to race. No, breath Vox thought  no need to panic he's somewhere in the tower, or maybe a side room at the club they'd been at. Despite slowing his breathing Vox could still hear his heart pounding. In fact that was all vox could hear. Why is it so quiet?

attempting to look around vox could barely see anything even the glow from his screen didn't light much of the room up. Come to think of it, this room didn't feel very big. The roof was only a couple of centimeters Off voxs head once he sat up 30cm at least. Why would a room be so small? So maybe not a room? Maybe a Cupboard? Wouldn't be the Weirdest Place Vox had woken up in before. Reaching up, Vox heard the same clang his claws made when they had hit the floor. Ignoring the pang of dread hitting his stomach, Vox reached around  to try and find or feel an exit or door of some kind, only to be met with that uncomfortable sound of claws hitting metal once again. Not solid this time like the floor and roof. No his claws had hit thick metal but it was more a mesh of horizontal and vertical lines. two of his claws could fit through the gaps but that was all.
So definitely not a cupboard.

Rolling onto his knees Vox reached for other sides only to reach them a lot quicker than he would like. Not a room, not a cupboard, definitely a cage. A Swirl Of anger and fear spun in voxs gut. It must be a prank, Valentino, Velvette or both would soon be here Laughing and he'll let them have it for their childishness. Any other sinner would be stupid to place Vox, the demon known for his electricity in a metal cage.

Vox was around 7ft and he had been able to lay comfortably flat on his back so the cage was at least 230cm long and 152cm wide, double the size of a large dog crate. This was custom built, he knew as it wasn't far from the one he'd had made to transport his land shark Vark to his apartment in the new tower. Abit of an extreme length for a prank…

“ok assholes this isn't funny” Vox Growled voice bouncing into the dark space outside his cage. So the room the cage was in must also be empty vox contemplated. A frustrated grunt left Voxs Throat when he was met with more silence. Feeling the sides Vox attempted to find the cage door. If he remembered Varks correctly there should be one on one side. Long claws clattered against the metal Vox Felt for the hinge that would get him free.

“Fuck” Vox cursed when he felt the lock attached, because  Of course it would be locked you'd have to be pretty stupid not to lock it. A gray fist pounded into the side of the cage. “FUCK…SHIT!” sharp pain shot through the flesh that has made contact. pulling his fist back towards himself observing the new slightly bleeding cuts along his knuckle vox let out a frustrated grunt once more. Scowling at the offending metal watching as the slight golden glow that had appeared when he'd hit it faded back to the dull metal color it was before.

Angelic steel infused metal. An uncomfortable panic began To build once again. This wasn't just someone catching Vox off guard; this was methodically planned. These types of cages are expensive, take months to make and are exclusive. Carmellia Carmine was a bitch about who she let use angelic steel For cages or traps. Vox would know he'd been denied one for years. Fuck he even had to get Valentinos angelic bullets from a 3rd seller, paying triple the price because of that stuck up cunt.
