Travis just stared at her for a moment utterly frozen. "You're what?" He said his voice sounding rough as he was trying to fight back the panic. Kayla gave him an unimpressed look and repeated herself "I said I'm pregnant...oh and you're the father obviously" Travis was on the verge of a full-on panic attack now, this was not supposed to be happening. "What?! How? We haven't had sex in like 3 months and we were careful!" He says as he begins to spiral, oh god he is going to be stuck with this awful woman in his life forever now. This isn't how he wanted to do this, all he ever wanted was his own little family, a wife who loved him and a couple of kids. However, Kayla is absolutely not who he wanted any of this with. If he was being honest with himself for the past year whenever he thought about his future it was always Taylor that he saw.

He could see it so clearly, especially in the past 6 weeks. He could picture himself coming home from practice only to find Taylor in the kitchen making dinner and dancing around with a little curly-headed blonde toddler underfoot, he could see her pregnant belly prominently displayed as she turned noticing his presence. He could see her smile as he walked over to her greeting her with a sweet kiss. He could imagine his daughter's squeals of delight when he picked her up suddenly gently tossing her in the air before giving her an exaggerated kiss on the cheek to make the toddler giggle. He could imagine coaching his son's football team and going to his daughter's dance recitals. He could see nights cuddled on the couch with Taylor watching awful reality just because it makes her happy and never admitting that he secretly likes it too. Getting to wake up every morning with his best friend and the love of his life.

Unfortunately, as the words Kayla said to him truly start to sink in, it's as though his perfect little fantasy is disappearing right before his eyes. Instead, he sees days of fighting over anything and everything with Kayla, far too quiet and tense family dinners. He can see her leaving every weekday dressed up leaving him wondering where she was going and who she was with. This ultimately leading to awkward tension and harsh words as they did the weekly handoff of their kid. He can see her demanding more and more child support every few months and not getting to see his kid unless he relents and appeased her.

Travis swallows a lump in his throat as he tries to fight away tears, feeling like the walls are closing on him. He tries to clear his throat and calm down, really wishing he didn't wear his emotions on his sleeve, but no matter how hard he tries to fight it he can't stop the tears from flowing over. He didn't want this, he didn't want her. He doesn't understand how this could have even happened, Kayla had been on the pill as long as he had known her and he made sure they always used condoms.

He was trying to remember the last time they even had sex. The only time he can truly think of in the last few months was one night about 3 months ago when after he had spent the night drinking and playing video games at Pat's, he remembers that Taylor came down wearing a little black corset top and a little black shirt with a buckle strap on one of her legs (A/N: the Coachella outfit) he has pretty much been hard from the moment she walked out of her room. He couldn't stop thinking about how fucking sexy she had looked and how bad he wanted to just push her against the wall and just take her, but of course, at this point, him and Taylor being together had been nothing more than a fantasy that he never thought would ever come true. Taylor had teased him so much that night sitting as close as possible and touching his thigh gently every time she spoke. He remembered being so worked up by the time he got home that he didn't even have to think twice about agreeing when Kayla asked if she could come over. He remembers feeling guilty that he thought about Taylor in that little skirt the entire time, and worst still when he accidentally moaned her name as he came. He remembers the fight that came afterward as well, but he was positive they had used protection.

Travis hears Kayla clear her throat to get his attention breaking him out of his spiraling thoughts, still unable to stop the tears from silently rolling his cheeks. He looks up seeing her standing there with her hands on her hips giving him a look of utter contempt. "Are you fucking crying right now? god I didn't realize that you were going to be such a fucking baby... Be a fucking man Travis and get yourself together" She says Rolling her eyes at him.

Travis takes a deep breath and says "Kayla you just came in here and told me something that is going to change my whole life forever so yeah I'm upset. I don't know what you thought my reaction was going to be here. I still have a year of college left before I can even be considered for the NFL draft, and we can't even manage to go two whole days without getting into a fight. How are we going to bring a baby into this?" "Oh, so what are you just going to leave? Just going to abandon me to do this alone? Thought you were better than that Travis." Kayla says getting angry now at this point.

"No of course I'm not just going to abandon my kid not an asshole. I'm just worried about how we're going to make this work and to be honest, I'm terrified.  This might not be how I thought my life was going to go, but I'm going to be here for my kid." Travis says sounding slightly defeated. He was trying his best to accept the fact that Kayla was going to be the mother of his child so she is always going to be a part of his life now. Still, he could feel heartache as he mourned the loss of the life and love he would now never get to have with Taylor.

However since Travis was standing with his back to the door he never saw Taylor standing frozen in horror in the doorway as she listened to every word. Kayla made eye contact with Taylor and gave her a smug look, and then she threw herself in Travis's arms and loudly squealed "oh Travy I knew you wouldn't let me do this all alone!" Once she pulled away she could see Taylor take off in tears. Leaving Kayla feeling pretty proud of herself. Kayla knew she might not completely have Travis yet, but she knew that she would and she knew exactly how she was going to do. They talked for a few more minutes before Travis said that he had a few things he had to take care of. Once he left Kayla smiled to herself as she sent Donna a text message asking if she could meet her for coffee tomorrow because she really needed someone to talk to right now and of course Donna agreed. Kayla was exceedingly pleased that everything was going just as she hoped it would and her plan was officially in motion.

A/N: So begins Kayla's villain era...
