"Baby whats going on" I asked
"Kenn, Meyah, Car accident" she said as she pulled off and started zooming to im guessing wherever they were
"I hope their okay" I mumbled as I pulled out my phone to call kenn, after 4 rings she finally answered in a hospital bed with a big cut on her forehead and a messed up arm
"Bestie what happened"?!? I asked
"Some drunk driver hit us" she groaned
"fuck, where's Meyah" I asked. Kenn moved the camera and showed meyah waving softly in a bed beside her, they were both in bad shape
"We on the way" Dami said as she picked up speed
"omg are yall back together" Kenn asked smiling
I said no, Dami said yes, then i said yes and she said no. At this point im confused.
"oop, well...ill just see yall when you get here, i dont feel too hot. I think they finna take us into surgery" She mumbled
"okay see you soon bess" i sighed then hung up. Im glad their okay but fuck! we can't ever catch a break.
"their gonna be okay" Dami said taking my hand as she drove
"mhmm" i mumbled, my anxiety always got the best of me but with Dami...its like she always knew what to say. That night where she left began to play in my head again...all the feelings came rushing back.
"im sorry" i said to her
"huh? for what" She asked
"....everything, hurting you" I sighed
"...You didn't mean to..." She said placing her hand back on the wheel
The ride grew silent again. After a few minutes we finally made it to the hospital and went up to the room where Meyah and Kenn
"Hey yall" I whispered softly as I entered the room
"Bestieeeee" kenn slurred
"oh by the way, Excuse any outbursts from them their both off anesthesia" The nurse chuckled
"Can we have a moment alone" Dami asked
"sure of course, just press that button if you guys need anything. im sure you guys can handle it" The nurse said exiting quietly
"i miss my girlfriend" Kenn cried
"She's right there bestie" I giggled pointing over to Meyah
"Ohh, is she okay" kenn began to cry
"Yes she's fine, You both are"Dami laughed
"can you move our beds closerr" Meyah groaned
"No im sorry, you have to stay where you are for now" I said softly
"But I wanna be with my girlfriend" Meyah said beginning to cry
"Baby don't cry, I love you"Kenn slurred
"I love you too" Meyah sniffed
"look" Kenn said blowing a kiss to Meyah causing the beeping on her heart monitor to speed up a bit
"Guys...I think she likes me" Meyah "whispered" to us making us laugh
"You guys are too cute" I giggled
"Lets all get married at the same time" Kenn said
"Do you wanna marry me"? i asked Dami playfully to feed into Kenn's delusions
"Hmmm, maybe" She smirked, her eyes lingering on me for a little longer than i thought
"Dami..." I said softly
"Hmm" she hummed turning her full attention to me
"...I don't wanna do life without you...im not sure how you feel but I dont wanna do life with nobody else but you. I hope you can forgive me for my mistakes. I love you" I said Looking up at her
"....I....I dont wanna do life without you either. im just stubborn, I love you Ashlee....I will always love you" she said pulling me into a kiss
"They finna have Sexxxx" Kenn teased causing us to stop kissing and laugh
