Kyo and Cameron got dinner while they waited for Lindsey, the night was crisp and the dark skies gave way to the immense brightness of the city around them.

"What do you think we're being sent to do then, hm?" Cameron inquired.

"Probably something related to my ex's black box."

"Right, he got his brains blown out, didn't he?"

"Yeah. Does mean I'm single again. I might out myself back out there. Hell, you and I could probably give it a go, if nothing's going on between you and Isaac."

"What? Me?! Seriously?"

"I noticed you having a look at my ass. Liking it?"

"Well, yeah, I did. That leotard's gonna get you a lot of attention."

"I guess I'm already putting myself out there. But would you? I know you and Isaac-"

"We don't have anything romantic going on." Cameron explained, "What we've got is- Well, let's just say it's a mutual interest."

"Okay."

"You see... I like d-styles a little... much."

"So beyond work it's literally just sex?"

"Yeah, we aren't romantically involved, Isaac told me he wants kids in the future and-"

"Let me guess, fertility issues?"

"Well, no. I'm just not into him that way, and he's not into me in that way either. Besides, I'm sterile by choice."

"You're very open about it."

"I never wanted kids. I don't think I'd make a very good parent."

"Why?"

"I don't wanna talk about it."

"Okay, sure." Kyo agreed. They'd just finished their meals when Lindsey finally showed up.

"Hey, ladies." she said aloud.

"Hey, Lins." Kyo replied, standing up, "Jasper sent us over, we're taking the job."

"So I heard, you look great by the way."

"Thinking to put myself back into dating, maybe some hook ups here and there, but I got my merc look sorted out." Kyo explained, "So, what's this about?"

"We're going to crack open James' black box." Lindsey explained, "Steele sent the decrypting computer into maintenance right when we needed it."

"Slimy bastard..." Kyo grumbled, "How he's still chief of police is beyond me."

"So how do we crack this thing open, then?" Cameron asked.

"I know a place, it's about time I went back there anyway..." Lindsey admitted. Kyo perked up a little when she heard that.

"Alright, let's go." she insisted.

It wasn't a long walk from The Funnels to the place in question, a large nightclub-like building decorated with graffiti and illuminated by dim colourful lights.

"Rakh-sheii's, I need to come here more often." Kyo remarked.

"You know this place?" Cameron asked.

"You don't? You've lived out here longer than me."

"I live towards the downtown side, nowhere near this place."

"This is the best bloody Neuro-sim lounge in the city, it's got everything." Kyo explained.
