"Get up, or we leave without you!" Al yelled.

"If you do, you'll be in charge, so go ahead," I said, knowing that would make him wait.

He frowned. "You're evil," Al said.

"No," Blaze said, laughing. "She's smart!"

"Thanks, Blaze," I said, smiling.

"Can we please leave now?" Luna said, quietly. About 10 minutes later, I realized we were lost, but I didn't tell everyone immediately.

When we ran into a cliff, and Blaze saw my face, she asked, "Are we lost?"

"Yeah," I said, nervously.

"Well, now what do we do?" Blaze asked.

"I don't know."

"What do you mean, you 'don't know'?"

"Well, we could go to those mountains over there."

"What's going on over here?" Al asked.

"Yeah," Luna said. "Where are we?"

"We're lost," I admitted to them. Before anyone could speak, I said, "But, I have a plan. We'll go to those mountains over there."

"Okay," Luna and Al agreed.

As we were walking, we came across a black and white wolf lying with his head down in the shade of a tree.

"Who's that?" Luna whispered to me, scared.

"I don't know," I replied, honestly.

"Hey," the mysterious wolf said. "I'm Athens. What about you?"

"I'm Moonhigh," I told him. "These are my friends, Blaze, Luna, and Alaska."

"What're you pups doing out here?"

"We ran away from our pack to start a new one and show them we're responsible. We're walking to those mountains over there," I gestured.

"There's an empty cave by a lake in there. It'd be a good place to settle," Athens told us.

"Why don't you come with us?" Al asked. I sighed.

"Nah, I'm a lone wolf," Athens declined. I was relieved. "I'm sure your packmates are worried about you. You want me to give them a message?"

"Tell them we're safe. Don't tell them where we're going, though."

"Which pack?"

"Midnight."

"Okay, I'll tell them. See you."

"Bye."
