CHAPTER 3~

The whole car ride was filled with silence and it is as if I am with a different person.

A person suffering from dissociative personality disorder would be ashamed if they knew how fast Mr. Romeo can flip his switch. One minute he's all this interested and the next, it is as if you're not existing.

I had a simple life before this.

An uneventful life I must say. Just a 23 year old girl working her ass off doing multiple jobs to survive life. Barista every weekend and a housekeeper in some fancy hotel during the weekday. But then some goons mistakenly abducted me instead of that girl --

So now, I am sitting rather comfortably in the back of his luxurious car feeling safe around him even though he's behind the disturbance in my so ordinary life.

He was the one who wanted that woman dead and for what reason? I had no idea but I know that if he will get his hands on her; his face will be the last that girl will see before she takes her last breath.

I wonder what she did to deserve his wrath.

I am amazed but not surprised when the car entered a huge estate through a private driveway which has a well maintained garden in each sides and pulled up in front of a manor.

Of course, he lived in a manor. He's a Vasiliev. And this is probably just one out of the many properties they own.

Someone opened the car door for us and we stepped out in opposite sides, I am still taking in the beauty and splendid elegance of the manor in front of me when a sad smile crept my face because I remembered that when I was a little girl, I wanted to live in one of these - a picture perfect fairytale like manor where princesses live.

But for what it's worth, I might be granting that little girl's dream but just in a different circumstance.

He started to walk in the direction of their massive front door and I just stand behind not knowing if I should follow him or not, as he haven't said a single word to me since we finished that 'moment' in the car, so I have no idea where to place myself.

I just stared at his back until he disappeared when he entered their front door.

Panic sets in again, because how dare he just leave without saying anything. I am on edge as I don't know what will happen next, I may or may not be shot dead any second so I guess it's natural for me to be scared.

But before I lose my mind, A woman in her 50's graciously stepped out the front door and walked in my direction.

She gently bowed her head as a respect and smiled at me.

"I will be at your disposal whenever you have need for me while you're staying as Mr. Romeo's esteemed guest Miss Celina."

My eyebrows met.

An estemmed guest. Wow. I almost rolled my eyes with how he introduced me as guest and not someone he is holding captive. But for all I know, she is just being polite.

"You can call me Agatha, and if you follow me, I will take you to your room where you can get change."

"Uhm, thanks." I simply said and we started to walk inside the manor.

If the facade of the manor was enough to take my breath away, the inside of it was a sight to behold. With a medieval interior laced with a modern furnitures with arts that I know cost a fortune, the house is magnificent. The house screamed wealth.

I followed Agatha as we walked through hallways and stairs that lead towards the room I will be staying, and when she opened the door and I had the chance to scan, I muttered 'wow'
