As Arshina walked alongside Isolde, discussing the activities of the little twins, she couldn't shake the feeling of unease lingering from their earlier conversation.

"So, what are they up to nowadays?" Arshina asked her, trying to distract herself.

"They are.." Isolde paused mid-sentence, her expression suddenly cautious. "Rina, are you alright?"

"Why do you ask?" Arshina replied, feeling puzzled.

"That night.. when Kylan took you forcefully and you didn't resist him.. I mean, I know you love him, but the way he took you on his shoulder by force and you didn't stop him, even smiling foolishly on his shoulder. It made me question if you were really Rina or not, but there was no mistaking your beauty." Isolde spoke with a hint of concern in her voice.

"Okay.. Thank you for your concern.. Now can you answer the question I asked?" Arshina said, trying to steer the conversation away from that night.

"What's there to know? You already know how they've been waiting to meet you." Isolde pointed towards the twins, who were playing with flowers nearby.

"Rina, go meet them. I'll be going somewhere for a moment.'' Arshina understood her intention, so she simply nodded. As Isolde walked away, Arshina approached the twins stealthily, sneaking up behind them and scooping them into her arms as she fell back onto the grass scattered with rose petals.

"Hello twins.." Arshina greeted them with a smile.

"Sister Rina," they both exclaimed with bright smiles, their eyes shining with affection.

Every time I looked at them, I felt a surge of determination. Their round faces, light green eyes, and ash-colored hair had a way of reminding her of her purpose.

They were the reason I chose to stay despite facing blame for the loss of my brother's power. As long as these kids were here, I would do whatever it took to protect them.

They rolled onto their sides, resting their heads on their small palms, their teary eyes fixed on her.

"Sister Rina, why did you come back so late?" they both asked simultaneously, their voices filled with concern. She couldn't help but smile at their innocence.

"I'm sorry, my darlings. I didn't expect my business to take so long."

"Then promise us you'll come back next month to see us. And if you don't, we'll come to the north without waiting for an invitation," Rain declared.

"Yeah, what Rain said! We mean it!" Ray added, his expression serious.

"Ah, look at you two, using such intimidating words on me. You've certainly grown up, haven't you?" Arshina teased, and they both grinned in response.

"You two know, when I first met you, I didn't think you two would become important to me? But look now I can do anything for you two."Arshina said, patting both of their heads. They jump on her and they fall on the grass.
