Life gave Denki problems he couldn't solve.
Life hated Denki.
Denki Kaminari was autistic and had ADHD. He hated it. He had an electric quirk that fried his brain. He hated it. He had an abusive family. He hated it.
But nobody helped. Nobody knew. He had to be the 'dumb class clown'. He couldn't just walk into class one day feeling down. He couldn't break down in front of the class because he got overstimulated.
No, he had to have a smile. A bright cherry smile making jokes having fun.... When he fried his brain or got a bad test result, he had to take the teasing.
What did he do when things got overstimulating? Hide in the bathroom and break down.
What did he do when he's brain couldn't focus? Face the punishments and keep his secrets.
What did he do when he got laughed at for 'info dumping' on his special interest (Pokémon)? Deal with the teasing.
'Why me?'
That was his question. What did he do to deserve this? Why did he have to want to be a hero? Why did he have to autistic and have ADHD? why? Why? WHY? WHY?!
