𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐯

Rosettas POV:

I breathed in and out.

Multiple times, I am SCARED, yes I get scared pretty easily.

And why am I scared? Well, my brothers. My parents, well yes they care but like I'm not exactly their priority? They care, and yes they love me they just can't pay me and my brothers as much attention because they're always at work. Which is where my brothers come in.

They've always cared about me and since none of us got any attention, they made sure I did. Spoiling me with gifts, making sure I was okay, helping me with my homework when i was younger, and all that but when I got older, they instead made sure I was okay when i got out and now I have to most likely bring guards with me and I hardly can ever leave the house, just from school and back, but their intentions were good, I just happened to have a huge problem with all of it and yes as much as I am eternally grateful for that because they still do but now its just annoying, yes it's for my safety, but no, just no.

At this point, I can't leave the house without asking them where the hell I'm gonna go and to avoid that I don't even go out, which is why my friends practically begged me to go with them tonight. Well wayyy more times but who's counting?

I zone back in when the cab suddenly on a halt. I look out the window and realize I'm home.

Oh Lordy Lord.

As i get out of the cab I quickly mutter a 'thank you' and give him a $10 dollar tip. All I got.

I get out and look back at the cab, watching it become a tiny figure out in the distance. I look back ahead of me and find my house. My so called home. I quickly mutter a 'please no' mentally begging my brothers were going to stop. Shit was going to go down tonight, im 18, not a kid anymore. 

I grab the doorknob with shaky hands and twist it, causing the front door to open and i push it further, dragging my body along.

I step in to find the two people i dreaded to see in front of me. My brothers.

"Roset-" Nathan started, but before he could say another word i interrupted, i help up my hand, motioning for him to stop.

"Guys no, Im 18, and i went out to celebrate my 18 with my friends not some stranger. Thank you for your concerns, but guess what? I came back in one piece, I don't need to ask permission anymore. Which again, thank you for everything, always taking care of me for years ever since we were little but I think im old enough to take care of myself." I state, the whole house is so silent you could hear a pindrop.

Are my parents at work? Or in their office?

I look at my brothers and their both staring at me like I told them I was going to kill myself. Only thing i ask for is for them to get off my back?

"Rose-" He stopped sighing and then continued. "- Okay uh we understand? Your 18 and we need to give you your space now, your old enough to take care of yourself now and we need to respect that." Nathan started and then Valentino started. "Rosa just take care of yourself when you go out okay? I don't know how the fuck I would live another day knowing your in danger or dead, and I know Nathan thinks the same. All we ask is for you to be careful. Por favor." (Please)

Wait like that?! Just like that? Finally! My insides immediately bubble up with happiness and I can feel the emotion filling my face.

"Thank you thank you thank youuuu!" I say shrieking with happiness, and before i know it I have already jumped on them, hugging. "But yeah I will, i promise!" I say, proudness filling up inside me. I cant wait to tell the girls.
