Rez

He was blaming himself for what happened to Pollux, absolutely blaming himself. He should have set connections with her- how did he forget something so urgent? Poor Pollux needed to get her back reset... it had been healing so well, and she needed to be snapped out of the shock she was in. 

He's been told that she's lucky that the damage wasn't worse but he was still in his room with he knees tucked into his chest, his breathing was unsteady because he just stopped crying and he was staring at the broken window. He felt very unsafe, he didn't know how Negative Pollux got in here but he just felt so unsafe right now. 

He sat there very shaken by what happened, he was supposed to protect her- how could he just let her get hurt. He put his face in his hands felt like he was about to cry again, stupid stupid stupid- 

Hello Rez, would you like to pick Pollux up?

She's ready already?

Yes, she's fine now

Okay

He forced himself up and wiped his face off, his throat was sore and he knew his voice was going to crack when he talked. He forced himself to teleport over to the hospital and he saw the nurse standing there, "hello Rez" she said, Rez stared silently at her and the nurse seemed to take the social cues because she said "I'll bring you to her, okay?" "okay..." he said softly and the nurse led him to her. 

Rez forced himself along before he saw Pollux sitting there on the bed, "h-hi" he choked out and Pollux looked over at him with her knees tucked into her chest, and oh my god was she banged up, bruised, and scratched up. It shattered his heart and just reminded him more of his failure to keep her safe. 

She had bandages, a lot of them and Rez walked over and asked "c-can I hug you?" he didn't want to freak Pollux out after the situation she was just in, but he saw Pollux nod shakily and he went over and pulled her into a gentle hug. He felt Pollux's body shaking in his grip and he just held her gently and said softly "I'm sorry..." Pollux didn't answer him, she just stayed in his grip while staring into his shoulder. 

"I'm so sorry... We can go home now, right?" he asked the nurse and the nurse nodded and Rez helped Pollux up and Pollux leaned onto him, she was staying quiet and Rez's ears were pressed to his head and he said softly "lets go home..." Pollux just said softly "okay" Rez nuzzled her softly and led her out the door, she stumbled a bit and he steadied her.

He checked him and Pollux out and he teleported out of the hospital, he felt Pollux stiffen as she was in his room and he asked "are you okay?" Pollux was staring at his bed her body trembling and Rez watched this in concern as her breathing grew fast, "Pollux...?" he asked and Wither ran up to her, he whined and tried climbing her leg. 

Rez shook her and Pollux clung into him, Rez quickly left the room and Pollux let out a strangled whine. "Pollux?" he said softly, Wither squeaked and climbed at her leg wanting to know if his mom was okay and Rez realized that this might be PTSD. She didn't need more of it... I'm so stupid oh my god.

He held her close and said softly "were going to meet my Master" Pollux didn't seem to hear him and Rez walked down the hallways while holding her close, he would just teleport over to meet Cletus but seeing Pollux's state, maybe wasn't the best idea.

Rez picked up Wither and tucked him close and he whined and tried to get to Pollux, Rez held him gently and he picked up Pollux as well and tucked her to his chest, Pollux let out a strangled whine and Rez gently rubbed her head while holding him. Maybe my room isn't the best idea... where can I put her? 

Now that he's thinking about it he doesn't want to sleep in his room either if it has a broken window, especially knowing that Negative Pollux could come back in. "You're safe..." Rez said softly to her as he pet her head, Wither snuggled into Pollux while whining, he nuzzled her softly.

The walk was a long one, thirty minutes long. Normally he'd just teleport there but he was nervous to do that, it took Pollux a long time to relax into him and he just held her as he walked. He arrived at his Masters room and he knocked, he heard a series of clicks as Cletus acknowledged his presence and he pushed the door open. 

Cletus turned towards him and said in the holograms. 

>>I heard what happened, I am currently trying to figure out how something as mindless as Negative Pollux got in

Rez stared silently and Pollux hasn't even noticed Cletus just yet, she had her face hidden in his shoulder and Wither was sleeping snuggled into her. He stared at Cletus and he nodded and looked to the side in shame, Cletus didn't seem mad about his failure though. 

He opened some holograms and looked over at him and asked. 

>>Rez, it worries me that you aren't saying anything, normally you talk a lot, is there something else you aren't telling me?

Rez shook his head quickly "no-no Master, it's just... uh..." Cletus seemed to realize what was going on with him and just nodded. 

>>I can see your shaken

Rez's ears drooped more and his Master kept clicking at holograms, Cletus reached over and ruffled his ears gently and Rez leaned in just let him. Cletus looked at Pollux as she hid into Rez and he gently tapped her. Rez watched Pollux flinch and hide into him now aware of Cletus's presence and Cletus let out a soft puff of steam. 

Rez whispered to her "it's okay Pollux..." he gently unhooked her fingers, she had a death grip on him so it was quite hard and painful, and turned her over. "This is Cletus" Pollux hid into him shaking and Cletus just stared down at her in pity, he tilted his head at her in worry and looked at him. 

>>I'm not surprised she's terrified of me because of what the positives have said about me before, I'm also not surprised that she seems a little... traumatized 

>>I have an extra room for you two, it has no windows, which I think will give Pollux some comfort after having Negative Pollux break through the window. 

>>Pollux, can I have your face so I can check it?

Pollux did not take that well, she struggled against Cletus as he tried to gently grab her face to really get a good look at the damage and probably scan it, it's best to be completely sure that everything was okay. Even if she's been to the hospital Cletus's scan was still more accurate, he let go quickly though when Pollux kicked at him and screamed. 

Rez flinched back in shock and Pollux clung onto him shaking again and he asked "why'd you scream?" he was getting more concerned by the second the Cletus decided to just scan her from afar. 

It's less... accurate but it still works. Pollux turned over and hid her face and Rez stared down at her and Cletus's scan got cut off from her hiding her face in his shoulder, Rez muttered "did the hospital make a mistake of letting her out?" Cletus shook his head and Rez stared down at her. 

>>I'm not touching her face again

>>Maybe Negative Pollux touched her face and she had PTSD, we can't be completely sure until she tells you though. 

>>I'll show you where the room is, you two need some rest and she needs more time to process

>>I can tell the hospital didn't make a mistake, she just needs to rest

Rez opened his hologram when Cletus sent him a message of where the room was located and he nodded at him and closed his eyes while taking a deep breath. Wither seemed terrified by Pollux's reaction and he said "I'm going to go now.... bye Master" Cletus nodded and Rez opened the door and left the room, closing it respectfully behind him. 

Pollux just stayed hidden and Rez let her hide into him, her grip on him hurt quite a bit but he didn't make her let him go. This is my fault... I'm such a moron.
