The next morning, Mu Shun came to deliver the imperial decree.

Hearing the decree, Yun Zheng felt both joy and worry.

He was happy because he was no longer confined within the palace walls and could now secretly pursue his own affairs.

But he also feared that Emperor Wen might suddenly feel guilty and, in a moment of weakness, decide not to send him to Shuobei after the wedding.

If that happened, it would be disastrous!

However, worrying about it now was pointless; he could only accept the decree gratefully.

Although Yun Zheng had lived in Bibo Courtyard for many years, he did not have much belongings.

After a quick packing, Yun Zheng set off with his two new guards.

Arriving at the Yu residence, he found that the sign had already been replaced.

Now it read "Sixth Prince's Residence."

The plaque was clearly a rush job, poorly crafted, and the paint was still wet.

"Welcome, Your Highness!"

The people in the courtyard greeted him with bows.

Goodness, there were quite a few people.

Counting men and women, there were over thirty.

Most were maidservants and servants, with six being guards.

However, thinking that these were all people arranged by Emperor Wen, Yun Zheng felt particularly uneasy.

Who knew how many of them were the Emperor's spies?

"Rise!"

Yun Zheng waved his hand but secretly resolved to find some loyal followers soon.

After a brief tour of the residence, Yun Zheng left with Gao He and Zhou Mi.

"Your Highness, shouldn't you take a carriage?" Gao He suggested, "You've probably not ridden a horse much before. If something goes wrong, we couldn't bear the responsibility."

"I'm riding a horse!"

Yun Zheng sniffed, "I'm going to the battlefield. If I can't even ride a horse, wouldn't I embarrass Father Emperor?"

Saying this, Yun Zheng climbed onto the horse using both hands and feet.

Indeed, he had never ridden a horse before crossing over, and his first attempt was somewhat clumsy.

Seeing Yun Zheng's awkwardness, Zhou Mi and Gao He couldn't help but shake their heads inwardly.

Is this it?

Can't even ride a horse properly, and he wants to go to battle?

This guy really is going to the battlefield to die!

Though they despised him, they didn't dare to neglect their duty, guarding Yun Zheng closely on either side, fearing he might fall off the horse.

After riding for a while, Yun Zheng gradually adapted.

"Where are we going, Your Highness?"

Zhou Mi asked.

"To the Shen residence," Yun Zheng replied, "I've moved, so I should inform the Shen family."

Zhou Mi smiled, "Such a trivial matter can be handled by the servants, Your Highness. There's no need for you to go personally."

"I'll treat it as practice riding a horse!"
