Rindou taps on his steering wheel anxiously. He's extremely late for the reunion and the whole time he's thinking to himself; he's gonna kill himself if you were there and left before he came.
His meeting with an investor overlapped with the schedule but it ended just in time for him to get here 10 minutes before the after party.
He parks in the school parking lot; it's strange to park here without his motorbike. He still has that thing and he rides it occasionally when he needs fresh air, especially when he misses you though.
Sanzu and Kakucho follow close behind, chatting about the meeting from earlier and how it dragged on longer than it needed to.
He enters the highschool, nervous. His eyes are only scanning for you, just you.
And he sees you.
There in the middle of the gymnasium, you're talking to one of your old classmates. You've got such a pretty smile on your face; one he hasn't seen since, well, highschool. Even from this far away, he can see the gleam and shine in your eyes. You stand out, you always have. You've always stood out amongst others, always so pretty and always such an eye catcher.
Your hair has grown so much longer to where he'd assume it'd fall onto your lower back if let down. Currently, your hair is curled loosely and tied into a high ponytail with a black bow tied around the rubber band.
You're wearing an off shoulder black long sleeve, material thick he's glad at least you're warm in this weather. You've paired it with a cute little white skirt; short but long enough to keep of your covered skin for imagination. You're wearing black tights underneath that with white sneakers to pair.
His wrist subconsciously covers the lower part of his face to hide the blush. He's so fucking grateful for the meeting because if not, he definitely wouldn't have known what to wear. It's weird because he normally doesn't give two shits— but if it's you, he cares. If it's you, he cares too much.
"She looks different." Kakucho notes.
"Shes prettier." Sanzu hums.
"God can you both shut up?!" Rindou grumbles, embarrassed.
"What did we do?!?!" Sanzu huffs.
"Rindou? Rindou haitani?"
Anyone can recognize that voice from a mile away. That annoying squeaky fucking voice.
He looks down infront of him, it's Rika.
"Oh. Wow." He mutters sarcastically, unamused.
"How are you??" She asks.
"Uh, I'm okay." He nods.
"Did you hear about the classroom reunion we're having in an hour?"
"Sorry?" He blinks. He did not know about this.
"Yeah, it's an option though, the gym is still open but we can pop into our old class and drink there."
He nods again, "Thanks."
He walks away and leaves the gymnasium.
Meanwhile, you had noticed him.
You noticed him from the second he entered, how couldn't you? All you've been thinking about is the possibility of him coming here— and of course he did.
He looked different.
He's gotten more muscular, much more and he looks like he's taking care of himself. His hair is a bit longer now, you like that it doesn't make him look messy and he can pull it off.
