"What do you think a good tagline is?" Jennie Kim asked bemusedly, her gaze set over the spread charts and laid-out photos for the new advertisement campaign for Christmas Eve. " Is it about drawing in customers' attention ?"

To most, the tone might seem casual, and indifferent, as if she were asking a routine question. But Lisa knew. This calmness was always the prelude to something far more intense. Who was the target today? Surely, it couldn't be her-she had checked the files properly and there were no mistakes. But then, who?

Her boss wasn't the one to randomly discuss her creative perspectives, especially not with her assistant. This was a conversation meant for someone higher up in company levels, like BamBam, the Magazine Director, or Bae Suzy, the Sales Manager. Perhaps even the company's upper echelon.

Lisa blinked, considering, her eyes drifting from the notes on her tablet, unable to bear the long silence. Second-paced fingers tapped on the desk when Jennie Kim posed a question. You had two heartbeats to respond, just enough time to figure out her need, whatever pleased her.

She was already on her second heartbeat from mounting tense pressure. The hamster in her brain began to spin rapidly, running in the wheel. " Studies have shown," brown eyes gape at her from across the desk. " An effective tagline not only attracts customers but also contacts with their emotions creating a lasting impression."

Were those even the right words the woman wanted to hear? Speaking to her often felt like shoving your head underwater, struggling for air until someone finally pulled you out and said breathe! Jennie Kim had no tolerance for stammering, fumbling fools, and Lisa's response possibly ranked as one of the most foolish-anyhow in her mind.

Deliberately, Jennie arched one of her manicured eyebrows. Lisa had to bite her tongue to suppress the urge to explain that she had read it in articles-right alongside her horoscope, which predicted that her soulmate, who was already in her life, would soon have a chance to stay together. But such remarks would be out of the situation.

The woman tilted her head and rested her chin on the back of her hand still staring at her then down to the copies firmly. " Hm,"

Lisa knew what was coming she braced herself one-two -three-fo-

" Kazuha," was all Jennie said.

She hastily pulled out her office phone and gave a summon.

This doesn't feel good.

Kazuha Nakamura had been with KimTech Media & Industries for six months working as a Marketing team executive for an advertising campaign under one of the team managers, Mr.Seo. She had always brought forward innovative trendiness works. Initially, she worked under Yeji's supervision, but after Mr. Seo took over as her supervisor, she submitted her work directly to Jennie, hoping to earn the formidable CEO's trust or flatter the woman with her dedication. Which she didn't so far.

However, her last project had such an absence of elegance and flair that Jennie Kim's verdict of 'Boring' was a strike for Kazuha to halt and realize the woman was not someone easily pleased. And if she made the same mistake again, she might not be so fortunate.

Jennie Kim shows mercy once-but never twice. The second time, the Dragon Lady would burn your flesh to bones.

Perhaps Kazuha felt the tension, too, as she hurried inside, glancing around at the windows that offered breathtaking views of Seoul City. Her slender body stood in front with confidence. Her dark short hair indeed made her look stunning, graceful, and gorgeous. That's what most of her colleagues used to compliment her.
