Chapter 15

"And ever since then... you become someone important to me, Y/N" he said. He leans his forehead against mine again. "I love you, Y/N..." he said. I stare at him in shock as I didn't expect him those three words to come out of his mouth. He slowly leans in, gently placing his lips against mine. My eyes widen at his action. Sakura is... kissing me?

Y/N P.O.V

After a while, Sakura finally pulls away from the kiss. I just stare at him, not knowing exactly how to react. I did not expect him to kiss me. He also confessed that he loves me.

"I'm sorry if I make you uncomfortable with that, Y/N. I just couldn't help it" he said. He looks guilty because of what he just did. He gently keeps me in his arms, resting his forehead against mine.

"After I had that nightmare... it makes me realize that you're precious to me. I don't ever want to lose you" he said softly, gently leaning his forehead against mine. I just stare into his eyes that held so much emotions, letting me know that everything he had said is genuine. "So please be mine..." he said, almost pleading.

"Sakura..." I said. I didn't expect him to show this much vulnerability to me. He's always been so strong. But I guess, he's still just a human being. He also hid his own pain within himself. Guess the dam he had build inside his heart had finally reached its breaking point. If he wants me to be the one to give him some sort of comfort, then I'll be happy to do so.

I gently cup his cheeks. I lean up slowly, gently pressing my lips against his. I hear a shaky gasp coming out of his lips. But he eventually returns my gesture. He wraps his arms around my waist tightly, pulling me closer. He almost lift my feet off the ground as he kisses me with so much passion.

After a while of kissing, we finally pull away. I smile softly at him as my hands are still cupping his cheeks. "You can rely on me whenever you feel down, Sakura. I'm always here for you. You don't have to worry about showing your vulnerability to me. I'll be your strength if you let me" I said. He leans his cheek into my touch. I lean my forehead against his. "I love you too, Sakura..." I said. His eyes widen at what I said.

"You... really mean that?" He said, holding my hands in his. I smile at his question and nods my head. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.

"Of course, Haru-Chan..." I said, nodding my head. I notice his cheeks turning red. "Er. Sorry. It sort of just slipped out. I didn't mean to call you that" I said. He let out a chuckle and shakes his head.

"It's okay. You can call me that" he said. I beam happily at what he said. He wraps his arms around me, placing his chin on my shoulder. "Thank you so much, Y/N... you really are my strength" he said. I smile softly as I wrap my arms around his torso. I move my head so I'm leaning my head against his chest. I feel drowsy as I yawn softly.

"Oh, I'm so sorry for waking you up" he said. I shake my head to let him know it's okay. He pulls away a little. I yelped when he scoops me up in his arms with both his hands on my back and knees.

"Haru-Chan! You're still hurt! Don't go carrying me like that and putting weight on your body!" I said. He turn his head to look at me. He smiles as he places a soft kiss on my cheek.

"What weight?" He asked. I feel my cheeks growing warm at what he said. He let out a chuckle. He walks towards the bed. "Sleep well, Y/N. I'm sorry again for waking you up" he said. He leans down, placing a soft kiss on my forehead. He's about to walk away, but I was quick to grab his hand.

"Just stay... it's already so late" I said. He blushes at what I said. But he nods his head anyway. I scoot over to give him some room. He lay down next to me. He let me use his arm for a pillow.

He places a hand on the back of my head as he gently pulls me closer. He moves his hand to rest it on my shoulder as he holds me close. I wrap my arm around his torso while the other one rested on his chest. My head is now resting on the crook of his neck.

"Now that you're next to me, I'm confident that I won't be having any nightmares" he said. I just smile softly at what he said. I pull away slightly to look at him. He lift his free hand, gently cupping my cheek. "Thank you, Y/N. Thank you for loving me" he said.

He places a soft kiss on my forehead, letting his lips linger on my skin. I close my eyes as I appreciate his loving gesture. He pulls away after a while, pulling me even closer. My eyes start to get heavy, so I just close them as I slowly drift off to sleep.

Haruka and I are currently walking down the road, to make our way to Furin High. My hand is being held by him as we walk. "O-Ow..." he said, holding onto his side with his free hand. I turn my head to look at him worriedly. He notice the look on my face and smiles at me. "I'm fine... don't worry" he said. I just give him a look. He let out a chuckle and kisses my forehead. I feel my cheeks growing warm at his action. We continue to walk after that.

As we continue to walk, I notice that Haruka's deep in his thought. But I just let him be. I wonder if he's thinking about the conversation he had with Umemiya-San. But I don't want to bother him right now. Whatever he's thinking about, must be important for him to be so lost in thought like that.

I hear the sound of our names being called out. I turn my head to see it's Suo and Nirei. Haruka didn't seem to hear them though. They steps to stand in front of him.

"Morning, Sakura-San/Kun" they said together. Haruka finally takes notice of them, in which he seems shocked. He yelled out in surprise as he backs away from them. His hand released mine in the process. I let out a laugh at his reaction.

"W-What the- since when are you both standing there??" He said, pointing at the two of them. I let out a giggle at how flustered my boyfriend looks. He turned his head to look at me. "Don't laugh at me, Y/N..." he said.

"Sorry... sorry" I said, still giggling. He rolls his eyes at me. "Aside from that, Nirei and Suo have always been there. He called mine and your name. You were just too deep in thought to notice" I said. He let out a sigh at my comment.

"By the way..." Nirei started. We turn our heads to look at him. He stares at Haruka and I back and forth. "Is it just me... or are you and Sakura-San seem closer than you normally would?" He said. I blink my eyes at what he said. I feel an arm gently going around my waist. I turn my head to see Haruka as he gently pulls me close.

"Of course. Y/N is my girlfriend now" he said. Their eyes widen at what he just said. I smile softly at him. He turn his head to look at me. He move his hand from my waist to my head as he caress my hair lovingly.

"Ah is that so?" Suo said. We turn our heads to look at him. He sends us a smile. "Well, what a shame. I guess I have to back away now, huh?" He said. My eyes widen at what he said.

"Eh? Suo-San? You have feelings for L/N-San?" Nirei said. Suo turn his head to look at him. He gives him a close eye smile.

"Yeah, I do. But, that's not important anymore, since L/N-Chan is with Sakura-Kun now" he said. My eyes widen at what he said. He turn his head to look at me and smiles. He turn his head to look at Haruka. "Take good care of her, Sakura-Kun. If you make her cry... I will be sure to steal her from you" he said.

"Why you-" Haruka said. I grab his hand. He turned his head to look at me. I shake my head lightly. He let out a sigh. "I'm never going to make her cry. I'll do whatever I can to make her happy" he said.

"Oooh~ someone's getting bashful" Nirei teased. His comment makes Haruka blushes. I let out a laugh at his reaction. Although, I didn't expect to hear from Suo that he harbors feelings for me. I feel bad that I have to hurt his feelings. Yet, I can't do anything about it because the one I love will always be Sakura Haruka... my beloved boyfriend.
