ଳ Chapter 2 ଳ

Shiver's pov:

I've been getting ready for about an hour to meet Marina and Pearl, picking out clothes and accessories. I look in the mirror and aply some nice lipstick before I grab a small bag for my stuff.

I walk out the room and see Frye's door a bit open. I walk to her door and knock, opening it more.

"Hey Frye? You ready to go?" I look at her with a small smile and put my hands on my hips.

She looks at me with slightly wide eyes, clearly more than ready to go.

"Oh, umm. Yeah, ready to go." She smiles back sweetly with that adorable teethy grin of hers.

I slowly make my way outside, only to find out that Pearl and Marina are already at the door, waiting..

"What was taking you two so fricking loong? You're like 5 minutes late." Pearl greets us with a small pout on her face.

"Pearlie, its fine. You know they had to get all beautiful to see us!" Marina smiles widely and opens her arms, giving us a big, greeting hug.

"Yeah, sorry about that. We'll try to be faster next time." I say and chuckle.

"Well, lets go then, shall we?" Marina says happily.

"Mhm, lets go." Frye says, her eyes gleaming at the sight of her friends. That look of hers is always cute.

Me, Frye, Pearl and Marina start to walk to a Splatsville cafe.

We're already sat at a table, yapping around about stuff like the tours that we have in plan, some new unreleased songs, exc. Pearl then looks at Frye and grins.

"So, Fryee.. Have you got any interest? Y'know, layed your eyes on someone?" She teases a little, her grin widening.

"Yeah, I never heard about any love interests from the two of you! Tell us!" Marina joins in, her excitement to know growing.

Frye's expression goes a bit blank, stunned. She gulps a little and smiles a bit awkwardly, getting nervous and a bit flushed.

"I-I uhh.. W-Well, there could be a special someone that I like, but thats none of ya business, Pearl!" She says stutterly, getting a bit more flustered.

"Oh come on! Its not any type of a really special secret.. You can tell us, we dont bite." Pearl smirks and leans back in her chair.

I tilt my head a little, clearly interesed to know.

"Yeah, we wanna know, Frye. Dont be shy." I smile softly.

"Its all about the nice, juicy details of what you love about that person, Frye. I really am interested in heating it all!" Marina digs in.

The tension builds up, Frye looks a bit stressesd now, like its the biggest secret in the world.

Why doesn't she wanna tell us? Its not like there's a high chance of it being someone I know..Right?..

I think to myself, looking at her. I lean my head on my hand and pout a little.

"Come onnn! Tell us. Tell us. Tell us! Tell us! Tell us!" Pearl and Marina start, their pleading a bit irresistable.

I take a sip of my coffee and look around while they try to plead out her little crush.

I quickly snap back tho and we all lean closer to look right at her face, grinning quite a lot.

"Fryee, pleasee! Just tell us!" I plead a little and sigh.

She then finally breaks, her eyes a bit wide "A-Alright, alright! I like Shiver, okay!?" She says, not even probably realizing it.

My eyes suddenly widen and my cheeks flush bright red, looking at her with a wide surprised expresson.

The whole time.. She liked me? Me out of all the people? Oh my god..

I think to myself.

Pearl grins wider than ever and looks at me. "Well, things got a lot more interesting, didnt they, Shivs?"
