ଳ Chapter 5 ଳ

Frye's pov:

Me and Shiver fell asleep again, not knowing how long we've been sleeping. Hours pass by of us cuddling in bed and everythings calm until there's loud banging on the door.

"Ay Ay Ay!! (Get the heck up, you lazy two! We're gonna be late if you dont get ready in half an hour!!)" Big man says loudly thro the door, waking us up from our slumber.

I quickly sit up and open my eyes right away. I look at Shiver and sigh under my breath.

"Shivs, wake up. We gotta get ready immediately." I say tiredly.

She groans and rubs her eyes.

"Whaat? No way, what time is it?" She mumbles as she sits up.

"Uhhh.. Half past ten?" I tilt my head.

Shiver quickly gets up, pushing me out of her room.

"Go get ready, now!" She shuts the door as I stand there, a bit confused but also a little flustered by her behaving.

I slowly make my way to my room and go inside, starting to ready up.

After fifteen minutes, Im ready to go, doing some finishing touches on my make-up. I walk out of my room and knock on Shivers room.

"Heeey Shivs, ready to go?" I smile softly, knowing she's probably not even ready.

"Oh come on, wait!" I hear some shuffling and some other noises. After a minute, she openes the door and grabs my hand, running to the exit with me.

"Hey! Woah! Calm down, we have like fifteen more minutes!" I yell loudly, but she doesnt budge. Shiver keeps running, donw the stairs and all until we reach the exit.

"I..Dont care.." She pants, taking a small break. Then she starts running again, practicaly going thro the crowds of people and not minding.

We eventually get where we're supposed to meet with Marina and stand there.

I pant softly from the running, my head spinning a little.

Marina then shows up and smiles at us.

"Hey guys! Im so glad you made it on time! Big Man's already here." Marina says softly, taking our hands and pulling us inside.

We walk thro the hallways and get to the backstage.

I sigh and sit down, taking a deep breath.

"This sure is something today, Shivs." I chuckle softly, smiling at her.

"Yeah.. Well remember, they have a performance, we have a performance after." Shiver starts, and before she can continue, I finish.

"We all have a solo and lastly all of us have a final song together, I get it." I look at her.

She nods and blushes softly, smiling at me.

"This is gonna be so nice. I cant wait to perform again." She says, sounding a bit excited.

I just look at her and smile warmly, loving how excited she is.

Off the hook already performed, we performed and both Pearl and Marina had their solos..

I stand in the backstage, Shiver on stage singing..

She just looks so stunning today. How can an octoling like that be this pretty?

I think to myself, giggling at the second part.

She ends her performence and bows down, everyone cheering for her. The smoke machines make some smoke and she dissapears, running here backstage.

"Good luck, Frye. Show them what you can do, love." She says, kissing my cheek and running to go watch.

I smile widely and run on the stage while the smoke is still there, her words encouraging me. I stand there and the smoke slowly dissapears.

The crowds start cheering and I smile, waving at them. I then point at the DJ to hit it and the music starts playing.

I sing with the song, dancing around like I normaly do and enjoying my time. I then look where Shiver is and wink at her, grinning right after.

I can see her cheeks turn a bit pink and her tentacles curl up slightly from getting flustered, calling it a success for me.

I finish the song and bow down, smiling. I wave at them one more time and the smoke starts to go around me again, giving me time to switch with Big Man. I give him a high five and go to the backstage.

Shiver get there and looks at me, blinking a few times.

"What was that, Frye? Why the wink?" Shiver says, her cheeks still flushed.

I walk to her and wrap my arms around her.

"Oh, I just wanted to play around and tease you. You know it was for fun, Shivs." I kiss her softly and smile at her.

I pull back and Pearl with Marina get here, looking at Big Man.

"Soo, that went by pretty fast, didn't it?" Pearl says and grins, excited for the final song.

Marina just nods softly and smile happily.

The smoke machines go off again and we quickly run onto the stage. We all stand there and pose, the smoke going away slowly.

Crowds go wild when they all see us like that, waving and clapping their hands.

We start to perform the last song, all of us enjoying the vibe and singing together.

...

We finish the song and pose for the last time, Pearl and Marina sharing a small kiss on stage.

I look at Shiver with a bit of confidence and walk to her, pulling her close and kissing her.

All of the crowds go wilder, screaming and cheering.

I pull back and smile at her, the smoke going off. All of us dissapear into the smoke, ending the performence..
