As expected, the celebrations of his upcoming marriage with Hoorain were in full swing once he reached his paternal mansion. It felt like they were just waiting for him to return home so they could officialize all dates. The women of his family had done all the shopping for the couple, and the rest of the preparations were just near to being cooked. He could even see the decorations as well. Masab knew that Hoorain would never say no by herself because she was obsessed with the idea of him as her husband. And now whatever had to be done, it should be done by him.

He saw as the driver pulled out his luggage from the back of the car. As Masab looked around, this house felt more familiar and owned to him. And he would love to see Andaleeb there with the full status and respect of his wife. He had always vowed to himself to protect her, love her, and respect her, and he would do this till his death. By making her believe in his love and honor for her, he would someday relish to find her reciprocating his love. However, even if it wouldn't be possible, his love for her was selfless, and he would take her secret to his grave, making the love that Masab felt for him sprout till eternity.

He was welcomed wholeheartedly by his loved ones. His father felt proud to see him back, all ready to become his strength and right hand. Bi Jan couldn't be happier to see her grandson once again between them while his mother kissed his forehead affectionately as her eyes became wet. His little sister, too, hugged him tightly.

While all he did was to temporarily take away the happiness of his family by ultimately confessing the biggest secret of his life.

"Now you are here after getting some time for us in your busy routine, I have decided that I will get you married to Hoorain. I need to see my grandson happy in his life before I die. And who can be a better daughter-in-law and wife for you than Hoor? And I will not hear otherwise at all," Bi Jan told him, sternly yet lovingly.

Masab clutched his lips together before taking a sip of water. "I am sorry, Bi Jan, but that's not possible."

His mother intruded. "You lived a bachelor's life very much. Bi Jan is right; now I also want to see my grandkids. The house is very isolated now and only Hoorain can bring happiness in it."

Masab sighed. "For God's sake! From where did grandkids come in it?"

His sister chimed. "Yes Bhai, just say yes. Hoor Api is so nice. And I can't wait to spend a lot of time with her as she will permanently live at the house."

He pulled a grim expression. "Can we stop bringing Hoorain over and over again?"

Bi Jan raised a brow. "What's wrong, Masab? You don't seem fine today."

He wiped his lips with a napkin before darting his attention towards everyone on the table. "I am not repulsive of marriage. I would have loved to grant your wish to marry anyone happily. But the thing is I can't marry Hoorain."
