Fatal Attractions | Byun Baekhyun (EXO)

Chapter 9

Baekhyun woke up to he sound of his alarm clock. Hindi naman sya agad nakagalaw dahil masakit pa din ang tama sakanya from last night.

He can't believe na he almost died last night dahil sa pagkaka-saksak sakanya.

"Tangina." He muttered through his breath nung maalala nya ulit ang mga nangyari kagabi.

Ayaw pa sana bumangon ni Baekhyun pero nakaramdam na sya ng gutom, idagdag mo pa yung naaamoy nyang niluluto na pagkain sa kitchen. It smells really good kaya naman lalo syang nagutom, he even heard his stomach growled.

Another reason kaya ayaw nya bumangon? Hindi nya alam kung papano haharapin si Haze, papano nya ito kakausapin. He just wants to leave the unit, and kalimutan ang mga nangyari. But he can't, after all, Haze saved his life.

Flashback from last night:

"Are you sure about this?" Kalmadong tanong ni Haze pero deep inside, medyo natataranta sya dahil wala naman sila sa Operating Room to do this operation, and it's against the medical law.

"I'm sure, Doc Kim." Sagot naman ni Baekhyun habang inaayos nya ang pagkakahiga nya sa kama nya, not minding na his white bedsheets is now crimson red because of all the blood.

"Just hand me the tools I need." Baekhyun added before ripping his shirt open.

"No, I'll do it." Haze says kaya naman napatingin si Baekhyun sakanya. "I'll stitch up the cut."

"I can ---"

"You're shaking, Byun." Pagputol ni Haze kay Baekhyun. "Surgeon ka, you know how this goes."

Baekhyun then looked at his hands, and tama nga si Haze. His hands are shaking, ramdam na din nya na pinagpapawisan sya kahit bukas ng aircon ng room. Ramdam na din nya na unti unti syang nanghihina.

"Kim, there's a few blood bags on the mini ref sa loob ng closet." Baekhyun weakly said. "Use them."

Then Baekhyun lost his consciousness. Kahit pa medyo gulat sa huling sinabi ni Baekhyun, Haze rushed to open the closet para hanapin ang mini ref, nadalawang isip pa syang buksan ang ref nung makita nya ito.

But then again, there is a person inside this room na kelangan nya tulungan. After grabbing a few blood bags, Haze took a deep breath, and tried to regained her focus to start the operation.

Haze started with cleaning the wound, and area around it so she can have a clear view ng dapat nyang tahiin. Nanlaki ang mata nya when she daw the deep, and long wound.

She didn't miss to see a few scars as well, some are deep, some are not. Yung isa akala mo daplis lang pero nag-peklat, pero may isa na halatang galing sa same injury nya ngayon.

"What the heck happened to this guy?" Haze thought as she take a quick glance at the unconscious Baekhyun.

Haze regained her focus, and injected him with the anaesthesia na nasa mini ref din. She then started stitching the wound carefully.

Later on, natapos na tahiin ni Haze ang sugat. Tinapalan na din nya ito ng gauze bandage.

Haze then sanitized the used medical tools, and returned the unused blood bags sa mini ref. She took another glance at Baekhyun before closing the door gently.

Pagpasok ni Haze sa room nya, humiga sya agad at tumitig sa kisame. This is when all the questions started flooding in, starting from how did Baekhyun know the passcode of this unit, ending with how the fuck did all these happen this night?

Haze decided to call Tao Huang first thing in the morning, hoping that he can enlighten her about sa mga nangyari.
