"You mean to tell me that both of you bozos had no idea she's blind?!" I yell, enraged by the new and unexpected info.

"It was pretty dark out, boss," Dalton said, trying to reason the shitty excuse.

I bring my hand up to massage my forehead. "Where is she now?" I ask, trying to keep my cool.

"She locked herself in the bathroom, boss" Vince answered.

Upon hearing this, I turn my head to look at him. "She what?" I ask, my jaw starting to tick.

"She lock-" He started again.

"I heard what the fuck you said!" I yell, cutting him off immediately.

"I want to know why she's in the bathroom instead of being brought to my office as I had instructed!"

"She said she had to go! Plus, she's blind; I didn't expect her to trick me," Vince explained.

"Well she wouldn't have tricked you had you done what was told"

"Bu-"

"Enough," I say, cutting him off in an instant as I couldn't stand to hear another shitty excuse.

Vince then nods, remaining silent. I then turn to Dalton. "Dalton, do you have any sedatives ready?" I ask. Not that I really needed any especially if the girl cooperates with me. And if not, I won't have any problems dealing with her. Though, I don't feel like having to put up with any more bullshit today so a sedative is something I'd be happy to use.

"Always, boss"

I nod before walking ahead of the two. "Lets go" I demand with an annoyed sigh.

I clench my teeth as I pull even harder on the handle of the window I had found. I then take a break to pant and catch my breath before I realize it's no use. I then come to check the bottom of the window. Finally realizing the window is, in fact, glued shut by what I assume is paint, I then come to terms with the fact I'm once again not able to escape.

I'm now stuck with two choices. And none of them are going to get me out of here.

I let out a heavy sigh before hopping onto the countertop and swinging my legs back and forth. I then try to brace myself for whatever lies ahead.

Will I ever make it back home? Will I ever be around my family again? Will I ever see Faith, my bff for life again?

A sudden bang on the door quickly brought me out of all the mind-consuming questions running through my head with a gasp. Another bang had sounded but I couldn't find myself to react as my body seemed to be in freeze mode, my brain itself in fight or flight mode.

"Open the door, or I will," I hear a familiar voice demand in a noticeable thick Italian accent. However, it wasn't anywhere near the sound of the guy that brought me here.

I say nothing and I do nothing. I just sit there, frozen, as I can't make up my mind on what to do.

Before I could fully collect my thoughts, a sudden, resounding thud against the door interrupted me. The door then burst open with a loud crack followed by a vigorous gust of wind, soon making a loud bang as it slammed into the wall.

I gasp before quickly closing my eyes.

Maybe they won't see me.

I think as I keep my eyes shut tightly.
