I shut the door behind us and let Kyra collapse into me. I knew that mum was harsh on her. I spent a good five minutes hugging Kyra from the back, with her sobbing. I wrapped my arms around her waist to keep her stable. I then pulled her

I sat down on my bed, gesturing for her to sit next to me.

'Ella, I know I've done something bad. Im sorry. It's just-' she began to sway on her feet.

'Kyra? Are you ok?' I asked panicking

'Ella he-' Kyra began but she fell face first onto my bed.

'Kyra.' I shouted. I tapped her, hoping that she would respond.

She stayed silent.

'MUM COME HERE NOW.' I screamed down the stairs, whilst i was trying to work out if Kyra was still breathing.

I heard people running up the stairs.

'Ella is everything o- KYRA' Katie shouted.

Caitlin came in, meters behind her girlfriend, gasping with shock.

'Help her please.' I sobbed.

Katie bent down to listen to her chest while Caitlin called an ambulance.

I stayed by Kyra's side holding her hand.

'Ella i know you dont want to but can you please let go of her hand.' Katie said

I reluctantly took my hand gently out of hers, squeezing it as i did so. I moved away to stand in the corner of the room.

'El come back. She needs you so come here.' Katie said gesturing me back.

I went and sat on the other side of the bed to Kyra, who was spread out across most of it. I said behind her head, my legs either side of her body, and stroked her hair. Kissing her forehead, i leant back against the headboard and pulled Kyra's body further up the bed.

Five minutes later, the paramedics arrived. I moved off the bed, letting the paramedics sort her out. They lifted her up off the bed and onto the stretcher. I held her hand until we got to the ambulance.

The ambulance left and said they would call us tomorrow when she was settled at the hospital. She hadn't woken up yet though so who knows if it would be today that she woke up or not.
