      Electra had been stuck in the Akatsuki hideout, not to be seen in the public to protect her and hide her now huge baby bump. She was due any day now, enjoying her stroll around the outskirts of the hideout and picking some white roses for some nostalgia. Itachi was out on a mission and she was bored, picking the white roses one by one when she heard the voices incoming. She overheard them talking about looking for someone to kill, must be rogue ninja she thought. She tried her best to mask her chakra but her water broke. She winced in pain, alerting the two men she was in the woods with them. They mumbled something about hoping they came across a woman on their trip, she held her stomach, clamping her mouth shut with her hand to suppress her cries in pain as she stumbled to find a safe place.

   Blood trickled down her legs, leaving a trail behind her as she muffled whimpers during her trek back to the hideout. She heard their voices flanking her left, exactly where she needed to go so she was forced right. She got an idea, booking it as fast as she could to the waterfall nearby, she struggled to swim through the water. Swimming under the waterfall and pulling herself up into the small cave inside. She hoped the loud crashing of water would be enough to muffle her cries. She ripped off a piece of her kimono, balling it up and shoving it inside her mouth as she propped herself against the cave wall and began pushing.

   She screamed with everything in her, though it came out muffled thanks to the cloth in her mouth. Once he was all the way out, she used her hair clip to clamp the umbilical cord, and sliced it off with her kunai. The baby cried loudly, making her nervous as she held his bloody body close to hers. She saw the air bubbles rising from where she swam in, sliding up the wall with shaky blood caked legs and hands, she held her kunai out while shushing the baby in her other arm.

   The men surfaced, laughing as they pulled themselves to stand in front of her.

"So this is where you hid? To have your baby huh?" One said.

"Now you're trapped." The other said growing a dark sinister grin.

"Stay back!" She yelled at them, threatening her kunai. She couldn't use her electricity in case it hurt the child, she was defenseless.

    Sweat dripped from her face, her rapid heartbeat thumping through her chest as she feared for her son's life, as well as her own. Before they could take another step a large sword swung through the water cutting them in half. Blood spattered everywhere as her eyes widened, hand shaking as she gulped wondering who it could possibly be now. Kisame leapt through the water, Itachi following right after.

"Itachi." She whispered, dropping the kunai and sliding down the wall tiredly.

"You just couldn't stay inside." He said panting from the fear he'd felt a moment ago.

"You look awful." Kisame said cringing at all the blood and sweat.

"I just gave birth, you ass. Someone get me out of this damned cave." She said as exhaustion started setting in.

   Itachi scooped her up placing a kiss to her forehead, her arms holding their son close as he leapt them out of the cave. His feet hit the wet bank of the stream, leaping off to the hideout as Kisame looked for where the men could've came from and what they were doing so close to the hideout in the first place. Konan made quick work of healing and tending to the both of them, cleaning them up and wrapping the baby boy in a blanket. Electra had passed out from her wounds, allowing Konan to bring the baby to Itachi to hold.

   He laid his eyes on his child, his body riddled with anxiety as he held the tiny baby. He couldn't believe this was half of him, right before his eyes he held the beginning of a new era. He allowed a tear to fall, smiling at his son as he whispered his name to him.
