Johnny : Everybody knows Gerard's worst fear is water ! Even Ava knows it and she knows him for about 6 months ! You know him for about 10 years Lizzie !

Josh : He is 18 he is supposed to know how to swim

Emma : You shut up ! You have no fucking idea of what you're talking about, you weren't even invited !

Josh : I'm your boyfriend, if you're invited then I am

Emma : You're not my fucking boyfriend ! you know what ? just get out of here Josh

Josh : Oh really I'm not ? I'm not your boyfriend Em

Emma : Do not fucking call me Em, my friends call me Em, the people I actually care about call me Em ! You are none of this

Josh : Oh really I'm not ? Do they know about what you've done ?

Emma : No they don't but you know what ? I'm so done with you Josh so listen well. turned to her friends Hi I'm Emma and when I was 16 I took drugs, because I hated my body, my mind and my thoughts and when I was under them, Josh here didn"t help me. He fucking left me there lying on the ground. some tears started to roll out on her cheek, He did nothing when his friends were around me and laughing about it.

Joey : turned to Josh You did what now ?

Josh : They did nothing to you !

Emma : How do you know ?! You left me !

Josh started to walk closer to Emma when Joey put himself in front of her facing Josh.

Joey : Get the fuck out of here before I end you

Josh looked at Emma behind Joey's shoulder. Joey moved to hide Emma from Josh.

Joey : I said get out

Josh scoffed and walked away. Joey turned around and faced Emma. They looked at one another without saying a single word. Everyone was too stunned to speak then turned back to Lizzie.

Lizzie : I'm so sorry, anger took over me I- I'm an idiot

Meanwhile with Gerard and Ava.

Ava : It's okay, you're okay Gerard, I'm here

Gerard put his head on Ava's shoulder.

Gerard : I can't fucking swim and I'm 18

Ava : Gerard, it is okay

Gerard : I can't fucking face my fear Ava, my dad and my sister died by drowning and I'm sacred about it. I can't face it ! I can't get over it. She knew it... I mean why the hell

Ava : Gerard look at me, you need to breathe okay ?

Gerard looked at Ava. The both of them locked eyes and for a few seconds they looked at each other intensely. In one second their lips collapsed together. They separated and looked at each other when they heard the fight between Josh and Emma. They got up and joined the others. They saw Josh leave. Gerard looked at Emma.

Gerard : What happened ?

Emma : We won't hear about him anymore

Gerard : Wait did he-

Emma whipping away the tears : Yes, now let's just celebrate Johnny's birthday

The party re-started. Johnny blew his candles, everyone started to dance again. Emma noticed the tension between Gerard and Ava. She was a bit confused about their awkwardness toward one another. She went to see Gerard.

Emma : Do you wanna talk about it ?
