Three Years Earlier :

Jungkook's POV :

"Dude I absolutely don't know what to do!" I said, falling backwards on Jimin's bed.

"We need to find a solution, you know. Before things get out of hands." Jimin replied, sitting down as well.

"I'm.... Scared, Jimin," I muttered, staring at the ceiling. "He's scary. I don't know who he is, but the kind of protocol that follows him around, the number of armed guards who always surround him, it's very scary."

"He's powerful, you mean. Rich and powerful." Jimin nodded.

"Exactly." I replied.

"I think we should tell your father about this, don't you think?" Jimin asked, and I instantly sat up, my eyes wide.

"No!" I said instantly. "I'm not planning on getting grounded for the rest of my life. Plus I really love my cellphone, you know. Wouldn't want my brother confiscating it!" I rolled my eyes.

"I get it, kook, but what if things get out of hand?" Jimin frowned.

"They... Um... They won't get out of hand. Meeting him today was just a coincidence. It's not like he's gonna follow me around everywhere, right?" I chuckled nervously, looking at Jimin with my eyebrows raised.

"I don't know, kook. I'm worried for you, I don't want you getting into some serious danger." Jimin replied.

"I get what you're saying, Jimin. But involving my family isn't an option. I've to deal with this sh.t alone. I'd ask Irene for help, since her mother has got connections with powerful people too, but then again why would Irene help me now? We both know she's selfish and mean and ugh. I'm so frustrated."

"We will figure something out." Jimin sighed, placing his hand on top of mine.

"Ye–"

I'm good, I'm good, I'm great.
Know it's been a while I've been mixin up the drink–

My ringtone cut me off, and I rolled my eyes, reaching for my phone from the side table. I frowned as I saw the caller ID, not really used to getting calls from unknown numbers.

"Do you know who is this?" I turned the screen towards Jimin and he frowned reading the number.

"Nope," he shook his head. "Pick it up. Maybe it's someone you know."

I picked up the phone and put it on speaker.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey, how are you?" A deep, masculine voice said from the phone, making me frown.

Jimin shot me a confused look and I shrugged.

"Who is this?" I asked, knitting my eyebrows together.

"You didn't recognize me, love?" The dude replied, making my eyes widen.

"Not really, no. Who do you wanna talk to?"

"You really did not recognize my voice?" The guy asked, shock evident in his tone. "I guess I still haven't left a strong enough impression."

"Seriously, dude, who is this?" I asked, rolling my eyes.

"Ouch, your words are stabbing me in the heart, butterfly." He replied, and that's when I froze, my eyes widened, my mouth gape.

'F.ck f.ck f.ck!' I mouthed to Jimin who looked at me bewildered. 'It's him, it's him, Taehyung!' I mouthed, pointing towards the phone vehemently. As soon as he understood what I was saying her expression mirrored mine.
