AUTHOR'S POV :
After new year's eve, jungkook began to grow closer and closer to taehyung. He started to notice the smallest of things taehyung would do for him. They started to go out more, meet more often. And when he wasn't with taehyung, he'd be lost in his own world all times, day dreaming about taehyung, just simply waiting for him to text him.
Jungkook found out more about taehyung's life, and it only drew him closer to him. Everything about him was much more complicated than jungkook had thought.
Turns out, his life wasn't all fun and games. His parents hardly ever stayed in one place, usually out on vacations, business trips, etcetera.
Taehyung was certain they loved him, but he was not emotionally attached to them one bit. Having no siblings, he had spent most of his life alone. The only friend he had ever had, was namjoon, the only person who hadn't been scared of him in school.
Eventually, taehyung was withdrawn from school as well, since he caught too much attention, and thus from seventh grade onwards, he had been home schooled.
To jungkook's surprise, taehyung was smarter than he had thought, and if taehyung had try hard enough, he could actually enroll into one of the best universities in the state. But of course, he didn't want to. He'd rather waste a few hours enjoying himself and drinking at bars, rather than making something good out of his life.
According to taehyung, he already had his dad's business to take over, whenever his dad would want. Yeah, the one involving politics, weaponry, drugs, and a whole lot of crime and violence.
It scared jungkook to think what would happen in the future, since he knew his family would never approve of him, but he knew he was too deeply involved now. Running away from taehyung now would be as hard as running away a few years later, or whenever his family would find out about him.
Plus he was certain that he had developed feelings for him, and that those ran fairly deep. He had never felt this way about anyone, and as much as it scared him, it was the best feeling in the world.
He could never stop thinking about taehyung; he was the first person jungkook had thought about in the morning, and the last person he thought before going to sleep. Taehyung was in each and every one of his dreams, whenever they'd be beautiful, traumatizing ones.
Kim Taehyung had successfully taken over his mind and heart, and jungkook didn't know how to escape him. He wasn't even sure he wanted to, not anymore.
"Jeon Jungkook!" The shrill voice of mrs. felon snapped him out of his thoughts, making him jump.
"Yes, mrs. felon?" He asked, his eyes slightly wide. She was looking at him with narrowed eyes, and her arms were crossed, a typical mrs. felon pose before she'd yell at you and give you detention.
"Would you like to repeat what I just said?" She challenged. Jungkook look straight in her eyes, before he felt something inside him click.
"Jeon Jungkook! Would you like to repeat what I just said?" Jungkook said, and the entire class burst out laughing. He realized that was a daring, no doubt, but stupid move, when her expression turned much more grim than earlier. He didn't even know that was possible.
"That wasn't something I expected from you, jeon" she said disappointedly. "You just earned yourself an hour detention after school."
"Ma'am, I actually have a transport issue, so I don't thi–" he began to lie, when a thought occurs to him and he shut up.
"You were saying?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Nevermind," he smiled.
