After talking to taehyung jungkook had remained sort of lost for the rest of the night. He decided to not text taehyung even after he got free and taehyung did not call or text either, much to his relief.

The next day jungkook had a plan with jimin, they were going out for lunch to their favorite local restaurant that they had really missed during their time in london.

They both got dressed pretty quickly. Jungkook was wearing a blue shirt with black jeans and converse.

They left in eunwoo's car and reached the restaurant in less than fifteen minutes, since it was not so far away from jungkook's house

They left in eunwoo's car and reached the restaurant in less than fifteen minutes, since it was not so far away from jungkook's house. It was a saturday, and thus there were quite a lot of people in there. They had to sit at a table for four, since those for two people were all occupied. It didn't take them much time to place their order either, since they had already decided what they wanted before showing up.

"So, are you gonna talk about mingyu now?" Jimin asked jungkook, wiggling his eyebrows. "Since I came to your house, all you've done is talk about v. I think you need to pay attention to other dudes too."

Jungkook had told him about the encounter with taehyung. But jimin had no idea about the kiss that happened between them. He didn't know because jungkook didn't tell him that, he intentionally left out the kissing part.

"Oh really jimin?" Someone said loudly, making both of them snap their heads in the direction of the voice. Jungkook's eyes widened when he saw taehyung, standing some distance away from their table. Jungkook instantly stood up, his eyes wide.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Sit down, butterfly," taehyung said calmly, walking over to them. "Don't cause a scene here." He pulled a vacant chair and sat down, making himself comfortable at their table.

"Taeh–"

"I said, sit," taehyung ordered, his eyes warning him to listen. Jungkook obliged, sitting down.

"That's a good boy," taehyung smiled, crossing his legs over the other.

"So what were you guys talking about?" He asked.

"Nothing," jungkook replied, feeling his heart pace.

"Nothing?" Taehyung frowned. "Didn't seem like that."

"Well it was. And even if it wasn't nothing, it's not your business," jungkook replied.

"Really?" Taehyung's asked in a tired tone. "You want us to go through that whole process all over again? Before you finally accept me?"

"That's the thing, taehyung... You belong to a family of murderers, a family my parents despise. And even if I accept you, my family never would. And I won't go against them," jungkook replied, crossing his arms over his chest.

Taehyung's face hardened into one of anger, his jaw clenched. He slammed his hand onto the table, leaning towards jungkook, making him gasp and back away. A number of eyes turned to their direction and jungkook gulped, his gaze shifting from taehyung to the people around them and then back to him.
