Chapter 4

A splash of water woke me up from my sleep.

As my eyes opened, I saw Ellie standing above me while I was laying on the grass surrounded by empty bottles.

Ellie: Slept well, darling?

She asked with a hiss.

Y/N: Pretty good...until you splashed water on my face.

Ellie: What the hell are you doing here?

Y/N: I took a trip to the bar with Zack...where is he?

Ellie: He's back at our camp, he told me I'd find you here.

Y/N: Ah shit...I explicitly asked him not to tell you about this.

Ellie: He doesn't need to tell me anything, I see everything myself. You two got drunk again like you always do and you ended up here.

Y/N: We've been very, very busy men the past one or two weeks.

Ellie: You think beating people to death because they owe us something and busting Steve out of the Saviors' prison is being busy?

Y/N: Let's not forget that I also returned Lilly to our camp after she joined that weird zombie cult.

Ellie: They're called the Whisperers, and you might've made ourselves even more enemies now.

Y/N: They won't do shit, this is the Saviors' territory, we're save unless the Saviors themselves will come for us.

Ellie: How about you guys stop making so much trouble inside the enemies' territory? It almost seems like you want them to start searching for us.

Y/N: It ain't my fault Steve got taken by them, right? I had to bust him out...and if Lilly runs off with Wannabe zombies...we gotta get her back...

Ellie: What about almost beating random people to death just because they owed us?

Y/N: You said it, they owed us.

Ellie: Not a reason to beat a man in front of his whole family. And besides, you doing Zack's dirty work is getting pathetic. You spent absolutely no time with JJ or me since we've gotten back from robbing the train.

Y/N: Alright then, let's...let's spend some time now.

I said as I slowly got back on my feet, using a nearby fence as help.

Ellie: Look at you, you can barely even stand.

Y/N: I admit, I might had one drink too much, but I'm absolutely fine, I can assure you.

Ellie: Keep telling yourself that. How about you tell me what you guys have planned for next?

Y/N: Nothing special...nothing at all as far as I recall.

Ellie: Oh yeah? Are you sure? Because Zack and Steve parked an oil wagon in our camp.

Y/N: Oh damn...yeah right, almost forgot about that. We were planning on robbing another train.

Ellie: Another one? How many trains do you guys wanna rob?

She asked while crossing her arms.

Y/N: It's a train that's transporting civilians from one town to the next. And as you might know, if one wants to use a train in the Saviors' territory, one has to be pretty rich.

Ellie: You wanna rob people this time?

Y/N: Imagine how many caps they have.

Ellie: So they're using bottle caps as their currency, just like the WLF does?
