The body was unrecognizable. Mauled beyond imagination.
"Burn marks, electrical scars, water in the lungs... Unsub really went to town on this guy." said Matt, throwing the folder on the table. For how much experience the profilers had, it wasn't enough to not make their stomach turn.
"That's textbook overkill. Whoever did that holds inhumane amounts of rage." added Spencer.
The other profilers could only agree.
"Even though he's showing so much rage we could't flag anyone as suspicious during our first sweep. Whoever it is they're somehow keeping their violent urges in check during their day to day" said Emily, "Regardless, unfortunately we don't have enough info yet to even scrap togheter a profile. Besides, Derek is about to get off the elevator, we should give him some type of reprieve for at least the first five minutes." she concluded.
With that, they all closed their folders and walked out the conference room, a sense of uneasiness following them.

"Yes, I get it, mornings suck. Unfortunately, none of us has a choice when it comes to what time we're gonna get up" said an already exhausted father to his already grumpy teenager.
"I do have a choice, you're just stopping me from going forward with it" replied the teen.
Ah, 15 years, the magical age of rebuttal. For all the knowledge he might have on the teenagers, the one in front of him was a mistery.
"Oh come on Jack, you like school enough. Besides, think of the good side, it's the weekend tomorrow"
"Yes, the super fun weekend with no plans"
"Name it, we'll do it"
"Really?" asked the teen, somewhat perplexed.
"I'm not in the BAU anymore, my weekends off are actually off" replied the man, smiling softly.
"All right then, the Smithsonian"
Jack knew that, realistically, his father could keep his promises now. But the years of BAU, where his father was absent for most events, still took a toll on him.
And it sucked, because he knew how much his dad tried.
"Here, extra coffee, extra milk, extra honey. Want something to eat?"
"Never."
